What a great place, everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful! The store itself is super clean. The service was great, prices were reasonable- $15 for 3 large ice creams. Lots of ice cream choices and they serve Hersheys!! We were tempted to try the mason jars shakes, they looked absolutely devine. Also, they have premade meals in the coolers that you can take home and heat.
It was a treat to go get ice cream today. I have been couped up inside after having hip surgery. The ice cream was delicious!! The real treat came as I was leaving. My husband was bringing the car around and as I walked to the door (with my walker) a wonderful young man who works at Averie's came from the back to hold the door open for me. It is most refreshing to see that level of kindness still exists.
