I ate at the Lake Bowen Fish Camp on Sunday. The servers rushed me through and gave very small portions not at all like I used to get there. Some of the food was cold. When I sat down it took forever for the waitress to give us silverware and take our drink order. When she was asked to get the peppered vinegar she bluntly said "we don't have that!" She was told they do bc I get it all the time there so she stomped off and finally came back with it. She never came back but another waitress did. While we waited patiently for a to go box, we watched this first waitress sweep the floor in circles which was her feeble atempt of sweeping the nasty floor full of food that had dropped. Then to my shock, she began to sweep food off a table where people had just eaten with the same broom she just swept the floor with!!! Who allows or does this? She needs to be reprimanded or the manager needs to have a meeting fast with his waitresses! she was down by the windows tables. I don't know if I will ever eat there again!

This is our first visit and it was excellent! The food and service were great! Highly recommended!
Nice place to sit and watch the boats on the lake while you eat. I ordered the sampler platter which is enough for 2. All of the food comes fried. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very nice. It would be nice if they offered a broiled platter. Only negative is they use soybean oil. But if you are OK with that the food is delicious.

So, #1 it is a Cash Only business! 2, you can get your items broiled instead of deep fried, but otherwise everything is fried unless you ask. Portions are good sized. Catfish and large shrimp were good. Perch was too fishy for us. April was a fantastic server, ask for her. Beautiful view and good prices.
Very disappointed 😔....broiled fish not really broiled....steamed in tin foil...not a spice on it.....fried scallops are not real scallops..it is skate fish....fried shrimp and oysters were over fried...dry.... good service and pleasant wait staff....but $50 I should get a decent meal...portions super small...5 tiny scallops and 4 tiny oysters isn't worth $18.99........too bad... place could bea gold mine if it had the right cook

Ugh no, place looks dirty and ugly. Food was ok and waiter was very nice. But the atmosphere, nope. Too bad because it is in a beautiful location. Cash only BTW. I’ll never return.

The taste good but the portions were not good. $41.93 for a seafood platter and hamburger steak plate with only three shrimp, four fish and one devil crab because I didn't want the oysters. Doubtful we'll return since it's a 40 minute trip and definitely not worth that price for quantity.
