Called in and ordered a cheeseburger basket and fries. Told me 20 min. Finally got thru the drive thru line which took 30 minutes, so a total of 50 minutes, when I got to the window I was told they forgot to cook my order. The food is good but service is horrible.

Absolutely amazing food and service! I was in town for the weekend and someone recommended them and they did not disappoint!!

Y’all I highly recommend this place ong! You want some good food that taste like ya grandma made it, come here!! Everything is sooo good and the banana pudding is homemade and delicious! I tell you I had to be rolled out the front door I was stuffed!

Flies ALL OVER the food on the bar! The workers did not care. They were steady making to go plates. This is terrible! They need to control the problem!

No to or for my taste or expectations. Barbeque sauce was just vinegar and pepper on MEAT no flavor other than vinegar and 🌶

Customer Service goes a long way as Miss krishauna P was my cashier and very disrespectful and did not carry herself well . I had customers come in after me and was directed on other side to fix their own plates for takeout and while I’m waiting to p/u order and pay she waited on them and two other couples. At that time I explained to her that was bad customer service as I am a regular customer.

Parking: Plenty of parking space available as it was half full the day I went as the food is good but as I said customer service means more to me then the food and parking as I’m sorry for this review but it was needed to be heard . May you have a blessed day through it all .

I enjoyed eating at this place up until the year 2024. It seemed like every time I went into the establishment, I was met by somebody extremely rude, either it being the young lady who is normally at the front of the register or an older woman who is extremely rude, has a foul mouth, and does not know how to speak to customers. I have kept hope alive that the service will change. I appreciate the manager always making things right. I have not been to this establishment in a very long time due to the treatment that I get when I go, but I did decide to go today, and the older lady was in there. She was extremely rude to me like she always is. However the young lady Megan. Was professional and attentive. I really appreciate her. She needs to stay at the front. She could see that I was uneasy, and by the time I left, I actually had a smile on my face thanks to her.

I think this could be a top-notch location if they get their service under control. Starting with the older lady whose face looks like spoiled milk.

The way she acts, I'm assuming that she's either the mother of an owner or just has been at this location for some time and can do whatever she wants to the customers, even if that means running them off.

Due to the constant unacceptable treatment at this location, I'm going to be giving them two stars.

Again, the only things that have kept me from completely dropping my business with this establishment are the Manager and Megan.

I drove out of the way while traveling from Myrtle Beach to Charleston to eat at Brown’s and enjoyed the food. The dining room is very large and can accommodate many. Meats ~ Ribs - I had 3 ribs and would have had more if I had any room. They are firm but tender…very meaty and flavorful. No sauce has been used or is needed. Chicken - Again no sauce…leg & thigh combos that looked well prepared, but were much better tasting than the appearance suggested. They were juicy and the meat fell off of the bone upon biting. Perfectly prepared. Pulled pork - The meat is done well. I can see why there has been disagreement on the vinegar treatment which leaves the meat on the salty side. I think that it works better with the larger chunks than the shredded meat. I liked it…would work well in a sandwich, but would have had less to make room for the other meats that I’ve mentioned. I didn’t try the fried chicken or other meats available in the two plates that I had. Sides ~ Macaroni and cheese - The first thing that I sampled was very good. I would have had a little bit less if I’d known how tasty all of the other options would be. Rice - 2 different types were available and I opted for the one with thin slices of sausage. Tasty but you may want to wait and see if you still have room for it. Greens - They had a great melt in your mouth feel. Not slimy and the aftertaste was pleasant and sweet. This is something that I could eat on a daily basis and I’ve never been a huge fan of greens. Yams - They are large and firm to the fork liked a boiled potato with a paler orange color than what I am used to. The sweetness level was also milder than what I’m used to and typically don’t care for. If I’d known than I would have saved room for more…best I’ve ever had by far. Dressing - I’m used to stuffing and have always been a fan (although it isn’t always prepared well). This stuff blows most dishes that I’ve tried away. ..a little bit denser and sweeter, it is a great accompaniment to the rest of the buffet. Again, don’t overdo it because it is rich. I didn’t have room on my plates for anything else and didn’t hit the salad bar. Desserts ~ Banana Pudding - This has a nice and smooth consistency without having an overly strong banana flavor or too much sweetness. It actually isn’t overly filling after a large meal. Pecan pie - This is a sweeter option. The pecans are held together by by the sauce making for a concentrated, intense flavor. One small piece was plenty. Beverages ~ I chose the unsweetened iced tea. It was brewed well and you could taste that it was freshly made. Many other options of sodas available. Make sure to bring your appetite as pretty much everything is very filling and quite tasty.

I placed a order today and when we picked it up, the old lady yelled at my manager about not placing the order right, very unprofessional lady… u can’t tell me how to place my order, will be letting everyone know about the unprofessional business

Please update your hours ,drove half an hour because you were recommended and not open at 530 pm on a Saturday 😞

i love the food and the atmosphere, everyone is so nice and respectful. yams are top tier.

First time eating here and it was ABSOLUTELY the best !! Collards were seasoned perfectly. Everything was great!

Good spot to get good southern food. Nice variety and great portions.

The food was good but I don’t like the way the Buffet was set up. When you pay they give you 1 plate and I feel they should have plates available at the buffet if you want more to eat. Since, you are paying for all you can eat!

So after my Granny's funeral about 40 of my family members/ close family friends went to this place the food was terrible
! The ribs were so hot we could not eat them ,banana pudding was a joke just blob of pudding maybe 3 cookies in the whole pan not a banana one Mac and cheese was definitely nothing to brag about, the potatoes had a old taste buffet was not appealing at all! Definitely not the place Mr Thomas Brown use to have! Do Not Recommend this place at all was not worth the money
