Now why would I want to eat at a Mexican restaurant run by a bunch of white people? Bland food no taste and staff is rude anyway! Go to a Mexican place owned and operated by MEXICANS for good food!
The food was very good. The kearny Asada was spot on.
The owner is rude!! There was no cheese on my Texan fajita Nachos, the lady put her finger in my food and said the cheese melted...there was no cheese at all!! she then offered to add extra cheese. No thank you, you just put your whole finger in my food. They will not get a dime from me! The waitress told me that I don't have to come there and she's right! I don't support rudeness or just plain ignorance! VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! THEIR CHILDREN NEED TO LEARN HOW TO STAY...read full review

Jarrito's Mexican Restaurant is a cozy spot that serves delicious Mexican dishes, with friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff that ensure a quick and efficient dining experience. The menu features authentic options, such as Mickeys Special fajitas and fajita nachos, which are generous in portion size. The restaurant also offers sweet treats like fried ice cream. Many customers appreciate the kid-friendly environment, and the restaurant's location downtown with plenty of parking makes it convenient for visitors. The food is fresh, and the customer service is good, though some reviews mention that the staff could be a bit more attentive, especially with take-out orders. The menu includes lunch specials until 3 PM, like a Burrito Fundido Lunch and Vegetarian Taco Loco, both well-liked by diners. The chips and salsa are a common first impression; the mild salsa lacks spice and flavor, while the hot salsa is very spicy. Despite this, the main dishes make up for the salsa's limitations. Prices are inexpensive, especially during happy hour, and the restaurant remains open despite outside construction. Overall, Jarrito's is a welcoming place to enjoy authentic Mexican food, with great service and a clean environment.
