Great food. Had the fried chicken lunch special with collards and yams, collards were as good as homemade and the yams were extra good plus the fried chicken was very good though a very small quantity. Staff were very nice. Will definitely be back

Went here for dinner with a friend and our two small children. Staff was kind and knowledgeable, we were welcomed and well taken care of. We both had burgers, I tried the grits with cheese (so yum), our kids got corn dogs and fries. Then we ordered dessert. Pictured here is my banana pudding, my friend got bread pudding. It was all absolutely delicious. Everyone finished their meal.
Kid-friendliness: We were there around 5pm on Saturday night with our 2 under 5. We had a great experience. By the end of our dinner, you could tell it was probably going to turn into more of a bar, but while we were there, they were fabulous with the kids.

The taste of the food was as if I went to Piggly Wiggly's next door. I wasn't impressed at all. The young lady serving me was very good, but it definitely needs a thorough cleaning job.

Nigel’s Good Food ll has a menu that is sure to please with servings that are as plentiful as they are delicious! The staff is friendly; the surroundings are comfortable and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken fried steak, perfectly seasoned collard greens, creamy mac & cheese, and green beans with potatoes. Our server, Misty, made the experience unforgettable. She answered all of our questions about the menu items and was so very patient with us as we ordered our meals. Miss Dee stopped by our table with a big, friendly greeting that made us feel like part of the family. Way to go, Nigel! Your restaurant is a real stand out! I can’t wait to go back for a second helping!

we had reservations for (17) People for dinner which ,we arrived untime, waitress we polite and courteous in their service but for some what reason our orders were a shamble. It took from the time of placing our orders and serving us drinks was one hour and a half (11/2)before our food start coming out some was hot while some was cold or burnt and to the point where stuff was not looking correct on the plate such as stemed cabbage looing like mush,mush, lima beans loook like soup ond the list went on etc.... we never left out of there with all the confusion of our orders prices, and the bill printing, we left out of that restaurant at 7:15pm I would never recommend for a large gathering. 💕

The food is always amazing however they will only get 3 stars from me due to the so called “manager” in the front with the locs and purple lipstick looking like that one fish from SpongeBob. Attitude is TERRIBLE how do you expect to run an establishment with a nasty attitude. This is my first time ever having bad service here and I tip based on service and she did not get a thing from me! Nigel needs to reconsider his management team. I watched this woman walk past my order on multiple occasions. You need a new job if you hate it there boo. But anyway thank you to the cook for acknowledging me and bringing my order. And a thank you to Bill as well.

We stopped by Nigel's while visiting South Carolina with family and found this small town family restaurant nestled in a shopping center. They specialize in soul food and overall it was pretty good. I tried the fried chicken, mac and cheese, mash potatoes and greens - all of it was solid and the prices were even better, especially if you're planning to enjoy a drink. The sweet tea was a little too sweet for my taste, but our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, my family was satisfied and if find myself in this town again, Nigel's would be a good spot I'd return to for a satisfying meal.
Went to this establishment to eat with family on a Friday night. Restaurant was laid back and clean. The crew was nice but the manager(Olivia) in charge was very rude and nasty. She was sweeping the rugs and rolling them up to close and then went in the kitchen and grabbed my plate without washing her hands. I will never eat in there again if she is working!
