My husband had eaten there once before had a male bartender I think he said his name was Mike. He enjoyed his personality and service very much. Ordered food and raved about it. Second time he went there female bartender was a bit all over the place. When he got home he realized he was overcharged. We went together this time. Sat at the bar and had the female bartender. Just could not keep up with her bar Did a lot of little unnecessary moves which wasted so much time. I had one drink was never asked if I wanted anotherIf I did go back and saw her I’d definitely sit elsewhere

This was the number 1 place recommended to me by locals for a splurge night on my vacation. Unfortunately it disappointed.Atmosphere was a weird hodgepodge of New England tavern and general Red Lobster nautical theme? Sitting at the bar has guests facing away from the water towards some televisions. Water front dining looked a little nicer.Food… the menus were really dated. I was looking for some peel and eat shrimp. Ended up with those and the allegedly famous hush puppies. The shrimp was decent but they put some clumps of old bay on them instead of a sprinkle like most coastal joints. The hush puppies were ok but needed to pick a lane- I broke one open and found a huge chunk of onion and whole kernel corn, ok no big deal, but this obviously savory appetizer is served with cinnamon honey butter. Maybe I’m weird but onions and honey butter weren’t my thing.Drinks- the cocktail menu appeared to feature your usual tiki drinks and I’m all about a good pina colada. I saw they had different flavors and went for a raspberry one. It was awful. It was $14 which made it even more excruciating. It was like when you suck all of the flavor out of a slushy and you’re left with nothing but abrasive ice chips that taste like off brand kool aid.The service was good unlike the place I tried earlier in the evening. There I was ignored at the bar for 15 minutes and never even got a menu. Avoid Seaside Bar & Grill down the road.Maybe try this place for lunch but don’t expect much. Stick with a beer.

This was my 2nd visit, and the seafood has been delicious each time! The seafood boil and salmon were both very good. The portions are just right (enough for leftovers), and the prices are affordable. This restaurant has a charming ambiance, and we loved the waterfront view from our table! The staff was good.

We had dinner here for our wedding anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. Our server was Taylor and he was swell! He welcomed us kindly and attended to us very well. He kept our beverages filled, updated us on when our food would be served, and kept the beers coming for my husband. Dinner came out very fast! Our meals were hot, fresh and definitely wild caught. We enjoyed ourselves and plan to visit again. Well done Mr. Taylor!

Going down memory lane and this place was a great way to end our day. I was on a Florida road trip with my Dad and his Beagle and we had stopped in Beaufort for a few days since this was the area my grandparents lived and loved so much! Hunter was our server. Service was impeccable! A+ for hospitality! I had to have the she crab soup and the shrimp cocktail of course along with a chocolate coconut martini. I couldn't leave Beaufort without taking a piece of pecan pie back to the hotel. This definitely is a place to checkout whether you are a local or just a traveler from out of town!
