Food was very well presented, and had a very good aroma. The menu selection was good with simple dishes that allowed for the chef to focus on preparing them well. The alcohol selection was wide and catering to everyone. The wines I had were decent but the food, while delicious, had small portions for the price and quality of the food. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was professional when interacted with. However, in an upscale place like this they shouldn't be chatting in the main area at the back, keeping work fun is important but with the atmosphere this business is trying to establish it would be better if that was done in the back room.

Frank and I love the lamb! The staff and bartender are exceptional. Their espresso martini is the best we have tasted. Always a no rush atmosphere.

The décor is elegant and understated, a perfect place to unwind after a long day. The dishes are beautifully presented and crafted down to the smallest detail. Everything was delicious, the crab soup and lamb were outstanding. The crème brûlée was the perfect finishing touch. An excellent spot, especially appealing to a European palate.

Definitely a place worth recommending! The service was outstanding – thank you, Karin! The crab soup was served in a hot bowl, creamy with a touch of spice – simply delicious. The lamb chops were exactly medium, just as we ordered, with a wonderful pistachio crust that added great flavor. For dessert, we had a heavenly chocolate crème brûlée paired with slightly tart fruit – a perfect balance. They also have an impressive wine selection. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommende

A gem nestled away in plane sight. The location may not be the ritzy streets of rift Avenue or Hollywood boulevard but Zora provides an experience tantamount to what those restaurants that boast of that location can offer. The food was delicious and presented well but the customer service should be championed above these great accolades. I left my laptop at the restaurant by accident and the owner personally organized to have it returned to me. Thank you Zora and thanks to the restaurant manager who had to give up some of her Sunday afternoon to return my laptop to me before I leave for a business trip the following morning. It’s about 5 am and I’m on my way to the airport to catch said flight and I am ease because of the belongings that were returned to me. Thank you Zora and I highly recommend

We love going to Zo'ra on Tuesday evenings for the 1/2 price wine nights, although any time is great. Excellent tasting dishes, good wine selection, wonderful service and a casual elegant atmosphere.

I was in Charlotte visiting some friends for a couple days and it just so happened to be Restaurant Week. Since it was a Wednesday night, most things closed, but they were open until 10p. We got there a little before 9p and were immediately seated. The seats were comfortable and the ambiance was beautiful…down to the fresh flower display at the hostess table. We were quickly greeted by our server, Emma. Between the 3 of us, we had the she crab soup, stuffed pork chop, salmon (pecan plank), beignets and panna cotta. Oh. My. Goodness! EVERYTHING was delicious! And I mean, EVERYTHING. Emma made sure we were good the entire time and not once did we feel like we were being rushed out. We were so excited that we chose this spot. To top it off, as we were leaving we got to chat with Theresa who was willing to capture this moment by giving us a full photo shoot. She was an entire vibe and we loved it! If you see her, let her know her new girlfriends from MD and Greensboro (fellow Virgo) said “hi”!
This was just what we needed and more!

zo.ra Food & Wine is hands-down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Lake Wylie. The star of the night was the Chilean sea bass—flaky, buttery, perfectly seared, and plated with absolute finesse. It melted in my mouth and was paired beautifully with a delicate sauce and seasonal vegetables. Truly fine-dining quality without the pretense.

The atmosphere is refined yet cozy, with a romantic, intimate vibe—stone walls, soft lighting, and live music that sets the tone just right. The wine list was impressive, and our server gave a perfect pairing recommendation that elevated the entire meal.

Every element of the experience—from the attentive service to the beautifully presented dishes—was thoughtful and polished. Whether you’re local or just passing through, zo.ra is a must-visit. Treat yourself to the Chilean sea bass—you won’t regret it.
