I love a small mom and pop spot to eat. We have driven by many times and finally had time to stop today. The food was delicious. But the service… everyone had a smile on their face and were eager to say hello. True southern hospitality. Even the other patrons were friendly. We already plan to go back on Sunday for a late lunch and another flavor ice cream!

This place is truly a down home country gem. The food is incredible. All of it, from a milkshake or banana split to the chicken salad club special, which is what I ordered on this particular visit. Pictures dont do the flavor any justice. The egg salad, chicken salad and pimento cheese are ALL HOMEMADE. Even the sweet tea is phenomenal. I'd give 10 stars if possible. This place NEVER disappoints! Even down to the positive affirmation cookies!! See the pictures.

When I moved to the area from Spartanburg, I was looking for something like The Clock restaurants we have upstate. Nothing in the Lancaster area fits that bill. Thought I would give this place a try, and it reminded me of The Clock. Finally!! I love this little place. Friendly staff, homey atmosphere, and good food. I recommend this place to all. They also have the best ice tea and homemade pimento cheese I’ve ever had.

Stopped in on way south from Charlotte. I got the western omelette and it was phenomenal. Great food that's affordable. Nice, homey feel, great environment. Felt right at home. They even have a little play area for kids. Will definitely stop back in for lunch.
