Lazy staff. I come to visit parents in lancaster several times a year. For this location, the order is NEVER correct. Get the food home and always annoyed at why people can't follow instructions. The receipt is correct with the order details. Staff lazy and irresponsible and trying to just get thru the orders. Today, a regular cheeseburger with everything had nothing but ketchup and mustard. Burger was burnt to shreds. Totally annoyed. Sad. Retrain and rehire people who care.

They don’t do refills on drinks at Lancaster location if your in the parking lot eating any other cookout I have been to does refills even the one in Monroe nc does refills but they don’t and try to charge you for it

Great burgers/ chicken sandwiches Cajun fries delicious. SHakes the best.
I live in lancaster I go to the lancaster cook out, but the last two times (8-16 and 8-30) the young lady at the side widow never greets you only takes your card and hands you your food and close the window, also when you call. No one ever answers the phone. It’s like Applebees terrible service good food, but I am done never again, ps others have noted this as well

I never in my life complain about my food here but today I am giving them a bad review they got my meal wrong about 4 times now and mine chicken is hard as a rock as well my mom asked for plain chicken wraps and chicken sandwich for me to eat guess what they didn't listen, they lost me as a good customer and I will never eat their old food again because they cooked my chicken in old grease, their fries are not that good at all. Today was the last TIME I WILL COME BACK AND EAT THERE. Cook out also asking for cash only today and they don't give out napkins you have to ask for them, and you have to ask for things for your fries and burgers as well when you order a plain one. NEVER WILL I be desperate for their food again now on taking my business elsewhere sorry but when I took my sandwich and chicken wraps back all they did was take off cheese and mayo and lettuce and on my chicken sandwich they took everything off and give me back the old chicken that is hard where I am ashamed but cookout is not a good place to eat for me anymore I rather eat at Wendy's or sonic or seagulls or Arby's or grinders so there for I am sorry cookout but you lost me and few other people good luck but you won't ever get my card again until you hire someone who knows what they are doing and take out the old grease that's bad for people's health so have a good day and goodbye.

No matter what cookout you go to they are all good. We just left the one in Lancaster SC and it has some really good corn dogs and hush puppies and the tea is good too. The lady at the window had an excellent attitude I'll certainly come back to this one in the future. Thank you to all the workers at all the cookout places ?

A really nice looking cookout, everything is as great other than an employee. Went on a Sunday night at midnight (they close at 3 AM) and one of the employees say me standing at the window waiting and started yelling “we’re closed” while sitting on the ground inside and had us wait 15 minutes for someone else to come to the register and take our order. I asked why he was doing that I was told “I don’t know they’re just dumb sometimes.” Afterwards service from the cashier was great.
