Cookout is awesome! Great food served by people with great attitudes. They truly seem to enjoy working there, even though the pay rate is not so great. Even if you're not hungry, have a milkshake! They're worth it 😋

Out of more years being a manager. I never experienced if you pay with cash.You don't get a receipt.. 2 young ladies around 12:25. I have ordered milkshakes in the process of ordering milkshakes. I was talking to my kids.One of them was like being unprofessional in the background. WHEN I was trying to hear the other young lady. When I asked for a receipt, she said, we don't give out receipts if you pay with cash.I'd never experienced nothing like that out of many a times I have been at the Cook -OUT, since I moved down here..
Lazy staff. I come to visit parents in lancaster several times a year. For this location, the order is NEVER correct. Get the food home and always annoyed at why people can't follow instructions. The receipt is correct with the order details. Staff lazy and irresponsible and trying to just get thru the orders. Today, a regular cheeseburger with everything had nothing but ketchup and mustard. Burger was burnt to shreds. Totally annoyed. Sad. Retrain and rehire people who care.
