We are so glad to have this shop in town! Our toddler daughter already loves going there for ice cream once or twice a week. Owners are super nice and the treats are delicious. Can’t wait to take my daughter there to experience high tea once she’s old enough.

Wonderful service -- accommodating for food sensitivities!! Took my four young granddaughters in & the server was SO patient.

We had a tea party today! It was an amazing time and we did it for a 5 year old birthday. It was intimate and amazing. All of the tea and sandwiches were delicious and I will definitely be back. Lots of people on my Facebook feed are interested. You must check it out. Highly recommend.

The high tea was amazing. Lots of little goodies add up to a beautiful and tasty feast.

The cutest shop in downtown Independence! I've bought several gifts here and love that they offer Vegan Italian Ice in addition to the locally made Ice Cream. The scoops are generous and there's a wide variety of flavors. I always make it a point to bring family and friends from out of town to check out this shop.

Love Love Love. My husband ordered from them and they delivered quickly. A great little reprieve during this pandemic. Great prices, great service. Speedy delivery. Even called us after to ensure we received our order.

Lady is rude. that combined with average ice cream, and high price, maybe good every once in a while as a last resort ice cream. I'd rather drive across to monmouth.

Overpriced, tiny, freezer-burned ice cream scoops! Very disappointed in this unique little spot

We had a wonderful High Tea Party today! The table was beautiful, the Cinnamon Vanilla tea was lovely, and the food was divine: scones, sponge cake, mini pies, sandwiches, fresh fruit, lemon curd, clotted cream, sorbet, etc. What a special way to have a special day. Thank you, Andrea and Alta!

This is a nice little shop that's clean and boasts a lot of flavor choices. They also have vegan options! You'll find something here that will hit the spot flavor wise, though I recommend the Bing Cherry (so many cherries), Caramel Caribou, and the huckleberry. They have classic options, colorful kid options, and even some interesting options (lemon meringue pie with actual pie crust chunks). There are a lot of options to choose from ranging from a milkshake made from vintage soda flavors (who knew moxie was an actual soda!?), to a massive banana split, sundaes, brownie and cookie options, mini pies, hot chocolate, stuffed bananas...and there always seems to be something new showing up! They even have a little section to the left that sells popcorn, kettle corn, jelly, you name it! My favorite part of the whole experience is the lady who works there. She's so welcoming and kind, while being that awesome grandma you wish you had growing up. We regularly try to guess the song that's playing (oldies) if you want to do that when you go as well. They also have stamp cards now! If you want to stop by for a scoop and a friendly chat I recommend this place.

I was this lady's fourth customer and have returned since, with pleasure. I don't know what brand of ice cream this is, but it's good, and the proprietor is very genuine. I asked the proprietor what she was going to do to adapt to the winter trade, and she said she was planning to offer a superior hot chocolate. Seating ls limited and there don't appear to be any employees. This venue is easily slammed and if a bike club, say, precedes you you're pretty much out of luck. There is outside seating. Salem doesn't generate the disposable income that Portland lavishes on its satellite communities but all the same, Indep seems to have become a favored getaway for Salemites and the Old Town main drag now offers quite a varied palette of venues for visitors of all ages. It's worth checking out.

I ate One Scoop of the Bing Cherry - No Sugar Added Ice Cream in a Bowl, and my Darling Husband ate One Scoop of the Lemon Meringue Pie Ice Cream ( it has Plenty of Sugar,... I tried some of my Husband's )... they were Both Very Tasty! The Woman who was in the Shop Scooping our flavors told another Potential Customer ( they asked about Pistachio Flavored Ice Cream... it's not in the Case, yet ) that this Ice Cream Shop has only been open for Six Weeks. We'll definitely be back. After we ate Our Scoops, we walked down the street to the Water Fountain/ Feature near the Park. I filled up one of Our Water Bottles in the Bottle fill up part of the Water Fountain there. We saw what looked like some Local Young Adults cooling off in the Water Feature there. I wonder if that's Illegal? It probably is! Anyway, as per usual, when we were in Independence, Oregon we didn't see any Police Cars... I wonder where they all are located, at that time of the Afternoon? I think there was a Noodle Place in this Location before the Ice Cream Shop opened, but I don't really remember what was here before.
