A family-run place that serves awesome tender pulled pork bbq, Carolina style with vinegar / mustard with option to go traditional with sweet Baby Ray's. Get it as a sandwich, a plate, in a family meal, or by the pound. I personally like the Brunswick stew side. It's rustic and small but the folks are friendly and food is delicious at a good price. We're not local but it's something we'd gladly do the drive for. Highly recommend!
So the first time I ate at Jo Jo's was two years ago. That experience was amazing. I came back into town in business and swing by again. Ordered the Pork and Rib combo. The pulled pork was on the dry side and with no flavor. The ribs were moist, and cooked to satisfaction but seemed lacking from my first experience. The Brunswick soup though is always on spot.

I served BBQ and Chicken Halves at a Memorial Day service for Veterans, Jo Jo's prepared the BBQ and Chicken topped off with homemade sauces, we served 140 people, everyone complimented all the food. Jo Jo is a Pitt Master and tops in his trade. This is a must if you love BBQ Or if your planning your next event. I promise you won't be disappointed. Been eating there since he opened. Always great food
