Recently became aware of this restaurant at a wedding reception catered by the owners and decided to stop by as I passed through Lancaster. The aesthetics of the establishment are not appealing from the outside, but the meal they dished out today (and at the wedding) was very, very good. Definitely will make the detour again in the future.
Good Food, I mean real good. Hard to find but worth the hunt. Good portions and tasty Soul Food. Home cooking at it's best! Beats most in town. They kept the small country kitchen like it used to be.
I went here because if my sister but I didn't like the chicken salad, the brownie I tasted and the porks chop. The prices are to much for what I got . They quality of the food is not to my standards. I think it could be better and then prices would fit the food. I will try them again but no dry pork chops or chicken salad. Cheese cake was good but not set asa clean slice came out.
