Went there for an early lunch and was immediately struck by the warm, rustic, inviting atmosphere. We were greeted right away with menus and a drink request, which came quickly. The menu contains a good choice of assorted meats. We decided on the calamari to start. It was fried but not greasy but was flavorful and tasty. For our lunch we got the brisket taco special and Gordo’s Philly sandwich. The brisket was fantastic with a nice smokey flavor and served on corn tortillas with cilantro, onion, and a little shredded cheese as a base. The philly was made of chunky beef nuggets that were juicy and full of flavor. It was topped with onions, peppers, cheese and Gordo’s special sauce. Amazing! Definitely going back.

Can’t believe I drove past this place so many times without stopping in. I had some amazing shrimp tacos, but will have to go back for the half chicken. Comfortable and friendly… A hidden gem that is highly recommended.

Service was good but the waiter never refilled or checked our drinks. The food was okay but not somewhere we plan to go again just for the great food. We would go again if friends or family wanted to try it.

Best new restaurant of 2024, everything we have had is amazing. Calamari off the charts and roasted chicken is amazing. Had the brisket tacos every time they offer them. Shrimp quesadillas are the best around.

Do yourself a favor and get there fast as you can on a weekend for the brisket tacos. Cannot say enough good things about the absolute burst of flavor. Wonderful owner who we chatted with and learned about the many events at the restaurant. Fantastic find!

We’ve been going to the Smokin Rail once a week for a few months now. It’s our favorite local restaurant!!! My new favorite is the Polish Brat! It was fricken awesome! Can’t wait to try the other flavor next! The hubby had the salmon and loved it! The key lime pie was delicious too!!! We sat at the bar for the first time and will def sit there again because Franklin was an awesome bartender & server!!!! Everyone is super great!

This restaurant has special items that are fantastic. The chicken with mash is flavorful and moist. The salad comes with corn, which is a nice flare. 3 times, never a flaw. Rare to find. Employees are welcoming and friendly. Great times!
