Got to be one of the worst experience I have had at any restaurant. The cook was the best food was spot on, but the waitress is about the laziest I have ever seen. I have been there at least 5 times in the past year and if this waitress is working I will go somewhere else.
Great sunny side up eggs. Great hashbrowns. Great service. Highly reccomend this Waffle House.

Dining in or take out .. Always on point and Always great?Employees on late night and super early morning are awesome đ. They're always well educated on the menu items and the food is hot, and know how to work as a team.... Food is normally quick... fresh,,, hot and good!
Me and my husband arrived at Lancaster Waffle House last Friday night(2/14/25) We were seated promptly, but it took a while for our order to be taken, but we were patient because they had a crowd. Finally our waitress sent another waitress over to take our order because she said it would be faster if she did. We ordered a Allstar ⊠eggs scrambled well with bacon and sausage with an extra waffle and an extra order or eggs scrambled well. We record our waffle with our drinks which was 20 mins before we got our food. Of course I sent it back because it was cold by the time I received my meats to eat with it. When the rest of the food was brought out our eggs were under cooked and the grits had brown lumps in them. We didnât make a big deal out of it we just let the waitress know we wanted it remade and why. When she took the food to the cook she hollared across the restaurant thatâs how we make our grits. My husband got upset because like I said we had been patient not to mention polite. We nicely got up and left the restaurant. Almost every time we go to Lancaster Waffle House we get bad customer service. I asked myself why keep going so I made up in my mind I will drive all the way to Chester Waffle House where I always get excellent service from now own. Lancaster Walmart needs to get it together. The cook was upset because the food was ready but the waiters/waitresses wasnât picking the food up. Our waiter even yelled back to her Iâm coming but you are more than welcome to take it to them.
I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at the Waffle House in Lancaster, SC. When we arrived, all the employees were outside smoking instead of tending to customers. The inside of the building was a complete messâevery table had leftover food and trash, and it was clear that no one had bothered to clean up.
To make matters worse, two employees inside were more focused on having a personal conversation with what seemed to be their friends rather than doing their jobs. Instead of cleaning tables or taking care of customers, they stood around chatting while the restaurant remained in complete disarray.
This kind of service is unacceptable. Waffle House is known for its quick and reliable service, but this location was the complete opposite. If management actually cares about customer experience, they need to step in and make serious changes. I wonât be returning anytime soon.
My most favoritest place for breakfast. And I absolutely love the first shift weekend staff.
Now first offâŠ.hats off to the cook on third shift. Sheâs awesome we always know itâs going to be good when sheâs there! Now I hate when having to ask for drink refills because once the food made it to the table the waitress just forgot we existed.
Now the other part that will stop us from coming is the young man that works third shift. Heâs 19 chubby brown hair short and EVERY OTHER WORD OUT HIS MOUTH WAS A CURSE WORD. That is distasteful. My husband paid and was done because of it. We use to like coming late at night because itâs the only place open late on weekdays so we could have a sit down meal together. Wonât be back hereâŠ.but the cook sheâs great!
I love their friendliness and I love their food !!

My family and myself have been coming to this waffle house for well over a decade and a half. We've seen it go from Being a horrible place to try To relax and eat, to a Place you enjoy going and spending your money. It took a new general manager but it was so nice.
Sadly The store has turned back into a place that is not enjoyable to visit.
Sometimes it's like they seem to forget that they can be seen. I seen The general manager Walking Back and forth on the floor, smoking on a vape, Chit chatting with what I assume was either good friends or family of theirs And they would sit there and laugh and joke While There was so much business That Customers waiting everywhere
For a to sit at. But they were oblivious to it and even walked outside for a long time to continue their conversation.
We Usually come a little after lunch. I'm not sure if some of the employees don't have to do Any end of shift duties Because every time we leave they're always standing outside laughing With the manager. While others clean up the mess that had been created.
Our orders even been wrong a few times because the manager is either on a Bluetooth talking or listening to music. They send out cold food and just. And just hope that you don't say anything.
It's Probably just time for a manager switch. We deserve better. The customers deserve better. I would do it before it's too late.
One of our go to's for breakfast. Service is usually pretty good at this one. Some not so much.
Please check your order before leaving and if you have anything wrong take the food back with you. which is unsanitary and unsafe.
Business is closed for renovations. Wouldnât want you to update your Google business listing or anything.
Always a good stop if you are somewhere you don't usually have to be...I appreciate that the staff is always friendly and polite
