Ate there today. Ordered hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes. $16.00 for that... No roll. Food wasn't good and waited a long time for our meal.

Terrible all around. My sister and I were the only ones dining in at the time of our visit today. (Maybe that should have clued us in?)

The menu says “hand cut” fries and they clearly were not. Got the pimento cheese fries as an appetizer and they were awful and greasy.

I ordered the ham, cheddar and apple quiche for my main dish. It was literally COLD in the middle. Green salad that came with was just lettuce mix, thrown on the plate, no dressing at all.

Waitress never checked back and when we asked for the check and neither of us touched barely any of our food, the waitress didn’t even ask. She just cleared the plates without a word.

I cannot recommend this place, nor will we come back.

Food was cold. Descriptions on menu misleading. Fries are not hand cut. Service was very sub par and unfriendly.

Landrum's best kept secret. While the Harvest House is unassuming outside, it is quite the opposite inside.
Food would rival any 5-star restaurant.
We started with the Fried Green Tomato Tower, Layered with pimento cheese & Bacon, drizzled with balsamic glaze is a must.
For the Entree's, I had the Center Cut Pan Roasted Pork Chop topped with a toasted pecan and local apple chutney paired with Sauteed Spinach and stone ground grits. My wife had the Pan seared beef tips with port wine mushroom and a caramelized onion cream sauce served over mashed potatoes, paired with sauteed mixed veggies.
For dessert, we chose the House made Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie and a fruit berry pie with rhubard, strawberry, blackberry, apple (Seasonal) .
Everything, including the friendly service was excellent.

It was all good. Beef Tips with mash and collards, The Big Cheese Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, and Duck Bruschetta. Don't bother trying to eat the burger with your hands. It is a wonderful mess. Ditch the bread and go fork and knife. Desserts were Banana Pudding and Pecan Chocolate pie to go. Service was fantastic.
