If you love small town diners with big character and even bigger flavor, The Circle Diner in Leesville needs to be on your list. This place is the definition of a classic Southern diner. The moment you step inside, it feels warm, familiar, and inviting, with that timeless diner atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The staff could not have been friendlier. We were greeted with genuine smiles and the kind of hospitality that you just cannot fake. Our server, Christy, took amazing care of us. If you visit, do yourself a favor and ask for her. She was kind, attentive, and made the experience even better.
My wife ordered the hamburger steak and I went with a classic hamburger. Both plates came out piping hot and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in serving good food the right way. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, the kind of meal that reminds you why diners are such treasured community spots.
A word of advice. The Circle Diner is popular and for good reason. They are only open three hours a day from 11 to 2, Tuesday through Friday. We arrived at 11:10 and managed to get the last available table. Their menu is posted on their Facebook page, which makes planning your visit easy.
If you are anywhere near Leesville, make the trip. The Circle Diner is the kind of place you walk into as a guest and leave feeling like a regular. Highly recommended.

When my wife and I are on vacation, we enjoy buying and eating local. Yesterday we stopped at the Circle Diner.Never judge a book by its cover, outside it's an everyday building, but inside is where everything changes. A direct throwback to the diners of old, from the tables and chairs to all of the nostalgic signs that lined the walls. We were immediately greeted and seated, we ordered our food and it was back to our table in no time, faster than we thought because the place was so busy inside, and the phone kept ringing with take out orders. Our food was delicious, my wife had the hamburger and fries and I had the fried chicken sandwich with wing chips. We loved the food, her Hamburger was perfectly cooked and she loved the hand cut fries, my chicken sandwich was so crispy and tender and I loved the house sauce they used. Our waitress was phenomenal and so sweet.The price was really good for the food we had, so we will definitely be back to the Circle Diner

Friend swung in for lunch and surprised me with an order of fried pickles! Breading was minimal (perfect) and flavor was great. Ranch had good flavor but definitely too thin; be prepared to wear it while traveling to your mouth.

I went during lunchtime on a Wednesday. They were very busy with in and out customers but stayed on top of everything. No one complained about anything. The food was quick and very good. The homemade chips are much better than any french fry. The menu is simple, but everything is delicious
