Went Friday 3/9/2024. Food and service was great. Don’t let the store front fool you.

The pork cutlet restaurant is a bit salty, but the service is the best in the area.

Thank God for blessing my home town of Little Mountain with an excellent restaurant! I love German food and this place is the best I’ve found around. The food I got was quick and delicious! Oh, praise God for you. I have been to another one far out in Columbia and the food did not have much flavor. The food at Elizabeth’s is excellent! I will be back often!

Definitely nice to have some German food. Sides were great, but I was a little disappointed in the thick cut corned beef on the Reuben. Kind of hard to eat.

We're so glad we found this little restaurant - on the Chapin side of Lake Murray, we hadn't found a nearby place for good weinerschnitzel until now! What other reviewers didn't say was, don't expect a fancy building, & if you go at night, it's not easy to spot the 1st time, because its sign is sort of inconspicuous. Maybe as they succeed & grow more profitable they'll get a beer & wine license; the building does have a bar, but only decorated with some steins & such. Presently they seem like a start-up with good food & caring service. Dinner also comes with a choice of two desserts. Plenty of food on your plate & very good cooked potato & onion side dish (I can't remember the German name for it). I plan to check their website for lunch hours & take friends there.

I REALLY wanted this to be a 5 star. First, it is a local small restaurant. If you want fancy, that is not the plan. But, if you want very good german food, this "could" be your place. I have not tried dinner, only came for lunch. The lunch menu is very limited but the schnitzel sandwich was superb! Sadly, service was not great. A few things could have been overlooked, but by the end, it was too much to ignore. Another waitperson asked another table if they would like desert. Well, all I heard was the word peach and I knew I was trying it. Somehow, desert disappeared when we tried to order, even though it was listed on the lunch menu. When we inquired, I was told it was an extra charge, to which I replied, ok, no problem. Then I was told thay they did not have desert at lunch and that it would be an extra charge. Kinda get the extra charge thing by now then it was added to the conversation once more before telling me they had none. I asked what the other table ordered, you know, with the whipped cream, and was told they just didn't serve it at lunch. Sadly, we paid, left our empty tea glasses behind and sadly went elsewhere for dessert. It's tough to run a small business, i am acutely aware. But the businesses I work with alwaya tell me to let them know if there are issues I see. Honestly, I did not feel welcome and was puzzled by the experience. The food was great though.

I have eaten Weiner schnitzel at the best restaurant In Vienna, along with many others all over Europe and the United States, last night was the best after the one in Vienna. This includes being better than the Hofbrauhaus. Not only was it good but it was affordable. Keep up the great work!
