Larry Stevens the music entertainer of the evening told us about this place. We went to see him. Food prices are extremely reasonable. I had the large fried seafood platter. Couldn't finish it. Food was excellent. They were very busy and maybe a little short staffed like most places. Place is older and alot of locals were dancing. Was a fun evening. We will definitely be back.

The staff is very nice.

Have been to this restaurant many times we go a lot Tuesday night prime rib the portion have gotten so small hate leaving a restaurant still hungry portions have gotten ridiculously small won’t return until that changes

Ordered at 645. Received the special at 745 and the food was terrible. My steak was cold and full of fat. The shrimp were like eating rubberized. The service was slow and disappointing. I am new to the area and cannot recommend this place at all. Go down the road a bit to the shack.

When we arrived there were two tables already being served. One person seated us & said our server would be with us shortly. After a short wait the server brought our menus & took our drink order. After another longer wait she brought our orders. I asked for tartar sauce & after she left she was stopped by the other tables. It was several minutes before she brought out the tartar while waiting I realized she didn't bring my slaw with the entree. I asked about my slaw, she had forgotten. Everything was so chaotic by then several other customers arrived. I never saw another sever during this waiting tables. I have no idea what was going on but don't blame the server, she had to stop & check us out. Never saw the lady that seated us. Service was terrible, entrees was less that we expected based on price. We want be coming back. Didn't see a manager in the house, they should have been on the floor making sure/assisting the server that all customers were being served.

Just all around terrible and over priced. Servers are sweating everywhere! It was hot in the restaurant. Took over an hour once ordered and only 4 tables when we walked in. Ordered the broiled seafood platter with steamed veggies. It was awful. Small portions, the steamed veggies were nasty and only had broccoli and carrots, not normandy. Said they had a new cook, so hopefully he will get in the swing of things.
The steak was overcooked. Good grilled shrimp but not on the broiled platter. Cheap cheap seafood for that one!! Just disappointing.
Sr/kids platter was the best deal. Twice the food than our $30 platters!!!
Absolutely will not be back.
Added - I don't normally review and am extremely patient with restaurants but this was just terrible.

Best kept secret in town!! The steak was great! But the shrimp was the freshest most tastiest shrimp I’ve ever had!! The prices were extremely lower. We went to 2 other steakhouses in the last week and nothing compared!! Service was awesome and we loved the atmosphere!!! Don’t even get me started on the hush puppies, cinnamon butter, and salad bar!! SO SO GOOD!! We will be making this our number 1 steak and fish house!!!

Also if you’re looking to host a private event…. This place is perfect for it!

Terrible!!! Under cooked steaks!!

Poor food, terrible service, and not a very clean looking restaurant. Carpet looks like it is probably at least 50 years old. I ordered a baked potato, but I was just about finished eating before they brought it to me.
