The food was excellent, as was the service. We came later on Thursday. The food was fresh, yummy hush puppies, hamburger steak (like up North), flounder sandwich, and onion rings with a salad bar. We will be back.

I gotta say we stopped here on a whim this past summer & we will probably be back this summer as well. The staff were all extremely friendly and the food was really good. Yes the decor is a bit dated, but I think that's a bit by design, everything was clean and overall our experience was great.

After living in this area for two years, I finally decided to stop in at this restaurant. I have heard great reviews on their oysters. I went into the back bar area for dinner. I sat there for 32 minutes until somebody finally was flagged down and brought me a menu. I made numerous attempts to catch the waitress and bartender so I could place an order. But all they did was run around the place. The back area was way understaffed. It doesn't help that the bartender and waitress deliver one drink at a time instead of a tray full of items. They definitely need some severe training The room had at least 75 to 100 people in it and there were only two staff. I ordered broiled, seafood, platter, fish Oyster and shrimp. The shrimp were just like salad shrimp the oysters were like dried cardboard that were rehydrated. And the fish was soggy and disgusting. If you're on local, you're going to get waited on way before anybody else! Saturday night is karaoke night as a heads up. Once I got my bill, I had one amount and after giving him my credit card, my bill went up three dollars. It's not a matter of the amount of money but the fact that they charge because you use a credit card. The woman at the front desk states there's a notice on the front door. I took a picture of the front door and there is nothing telling you about surcharges for credit cards. There's also nothing on the menu either. The meal overall was a one out of 10. It was laying in fluid I thought was going to be butter. But I have no idea what it was. It was disgusting! The hush puppies are something, but I don't know what they are. I would highly suggest going somewhere else . As you can see in the photographs, the menu has various items. A very large selection of those items are all listed as market price. So when your waitress finally arrives at your table, you're going to have 30 questions on what pricing is. And they get upset when you ask them those questions.

Best oysters I’ve ever had! Throwback atmosphere with very nice local, southern staff. Owner is hard working and present in the building which you don’t always see. You can tell they care about your business.Parking: Tons of open space on the right side of the building!

Did not eat here, just stopped in to do some Karaoke. Nice place there called Maxwells Lounge. Karaoke was nice. Good system, nice Host. Lot's of singer's, waited 1.5 hours to sing. Over 50 crowd.

We ate at Billy the Kid's and had a very good meal. I ordered the whole flounder with onion rings and slaw. Everything was served hot and was very good. The hush puppies were light and fluffy not greasy.
The people running the place were nice as was our waitress. The decor is in serious need of an update. When we drive by the parking lot is always full so we thought we would try it. There was nobody in there but us so I am not sure where all the cars came from. I ordered scallops. They put so much old Bay on them that I could hardly eat them. Would not go back.
I ate at Billy the Kid's this past weekend while I was staying at North Myrtle Beach and I will recommend you try out their food. They have frog legs if you like them. My friend said they were delicious. Best hush puppies I have had.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is good for the kids too.

Fried seafood plate left much to be desired: either relatively flavorless or incredibly salty with little in-between. I felt sick for a few days after going, but of course, these things do just happen and it may not have been the food's fault.The waitstaff were yelling at the cook when we went (something about money), so I'm not sure how good the environment is there. Our server seemed a little standoffish and uncomfortable, but was very attentive.Atmosphere wise, the theming was lovely! Very saloon-y, and pretty much what we expected from the name. It was nice and well decorated.
