Yes yes me and my fiance went tonight the food was goodt!! Especially the oyster Rockefeller! Nice chill spot. Will definitely be going back gotta try them deep fried turkey legs.

We came in after our day of fishing. We were the only ones there and had a variety of dishes. My son got the Philly he didnt complain. My dad got shrimp tacos but the tortillas were cold and falling part. If your Mexican you know. My daughter exchanged her rice because it had no flavor. The mashed pots and canned green beans also had no flavor. The sweet tea i originally ordered was so light and watery tasting. The waitress was sweet but never really came to check in on us after we got our food.

Makalia understands service with a smile! Food was great, price was comparable to any fresh catch place around. Recent back to back bad reviews are clearly disgruntled people using multiple Gmail accounts.

Extremely overpriced for the quality of food. The pictures on the menu look nothing like what’s actually served. The restaurant itself feels run-down, and everything seems to come straight from frozen bags and simply refried. Sadly, this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

Avoid Bottom Feeders – Total Tourist Trap

I usually don’t write reviews because I believe every business deserves a chance to grow, but Bottom Feeders in Little River, SC was such a bad experience, I feel like I have to warn others.

We dined as a group of five and were automatically charged a 20% gratuity — with no notice — which felt like we were being taken advantage of just for being tourists. The food was truly awful. Even the kids couldn’t finish their meals.

The owners seemed annoyed and irritated, like they didn’t want to be there, let alone serve customers. The entire atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the experience left a bad taste in every way — literally and figuratively.

This place is overpriced, has poor service, and the quality is nowhere near what you'd expect from a 4.5-star restaurant. Honestly, I don't know who’s leaving those glowing reviews — it’s hard to believe anyone had a good experience here.

If you’re visiting the area and want to enjoy your time, go somewhere else. Bottom Feeders won’t give you a good meal or a good memory — just a big bill and regret.

I don't recommend this place. They put a mandatory tip of 18-20%. That amount differed from what the menu said. The hamburgers were frozen burgers, just reheated. The fries, same thing. Don't waste your money for this substandard food. I wish I would have known ahead of time...Way overpriced!!

Such a great lunch find for our weekend getaway. The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable for a vacation spot. Staff were very friendly and the inside was very clean and well kept. I got the bacon burger and mac and cheese and would definitely come back to eat here again!

Excellent food and excellent service! Great place to eat, drink and watch sports! Highly recommend giving them a try!

First time here and I really enjoyed it. Had the surf and turf which was perfectly seasoned and tender. Honestly a better steak than the majority of steakhouses I’ve been too. Inside looked like it had been redone recently which looked great. Our server/bartender was the only one at the restaurant so when it got busy she got behind pretty bad. It would have been smart to staff 2 people at a minimum. Other than that it was great.
