Back in the spring I saw a Barbie cake they had made at a playplace. I was so obsessed with the cake I asked for the name of the bakery. I told my husband this what I want for my bday cake. Well come July I reminded him of what I wanted, but I changed my mind and said I wanted a Star Trek cake. I’m a Trekkie and wanted a themed birthday, but they don’t make decorations for it. This cake was perfect! It was the commanders uniform with gold pips and had the Star Fleet Academy motto written beautifully instead of happy birthday. They had never seen Star Trek before and did an amazing job. It was chocolate cake with salted caramel buttercream. THANK YOU so much for this cake. It made what was a sucky weekend awesome.

Do not recommend this bakery if you need a special event cake! If you are looking for a muffin or cookie then this is your bakery. When to pick up my daughters birthday cake (Nothing like what I had ordered) too large, cake was not what I ordered and even dry and burnt 🥵! Like is sweet manager tried to make it right… Offered me a full refund… almost a year later and several calls I am still waiting for MY REFUND!!!!!

The audacity! The audacity charged me $5+ For a single chocolate cupcake. It was so dry and hard around the edges, the icing was cracky and lacked everything you could want in a cupcake. I have driven by here many times, and even against the subpar reviews popped in today. What a disappointment! I would’ve gave it zero stars if I could. Duncan Hines tastes better, do better y’all!

Wow!!! We rolled in from out of state and needed a birthday cake plus extra goodies, and this place did not disappoint!! Chocolate cake and eclairs TO DIE FOR! Highly recommend ❤️

We recently ordered custom chantilly cupcakes from Life is Sweet Bakery for my wife's birthday while on vacation in North Myrtle Beach. They were incredible! The stabilized icing and fresh berries were perfect, even in the summer heat. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the process easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend Life is Sweet Bakery for their delicious treats and excellent service.

I received a TEMU cake for my event. I reached out to baker via FB messenger and provided pictures of what I wanted for my cake. We also spoke on the phone and I specifically asked if she was familiar with the theme for my baby shower “Here Comes the Son”, her response was “yes”. I explained colors and theme. Since I am located in a different state I know it was a risk ordering from an unknown baker but I remained positive since I know baker can Google theme. My order according to Gerry “was not properly handle” and after receiving my order I saw what he was talking about. My order was not on the delivery schedule for that Saturday and it was not properly handled during delivery which cause damage to cake and cupcakes. The baker who did my order was Miya and I honestly think she didn’t receive correct instructions from the owner for my order. Cake had damaged which could had been done during delivery, cookies were not individually packed and cupcake's frosting was also damaged. One cupcake was removed from wrapper and placed in another of what I was told but in my opinion baker could had just replaced the cupcake with a fresh one. Cookies were just in a boxed and was told wrapping was available but I was never given that option. All my guests took the wrapped cookies since it was convenient to take rather than the unwrapped ones. Many of my guests made comments that cake didn’t looked and tasted freshly baked. I ordered cookies from another baker and you can see the difference in presentation. I honestly feel presentation is what many customers look for when it comes to orders for special events. I reached out to the bakery and so far have only received excuses. I personally do not recommend or will ever make any orders with this bakery. I know the cost of beautiful cakes an what I received was an extreme disappointment. Owner stands by her service and bakers (according to her msg on FB) and feels that nothing was wrong. Claims cake was never damaged and that my picture does t show anything wrong.

We usually go there twice a month...the one girl that works there is so nice and sweet...unfortunately when we went in today the gentlemen that was there made us feel like we were bothering him...we wanted to look around becuz they have such tasty choices and we wanted to try something different...after his attitude we just chose and left...its a shame...I would have gladly given a 5 but with the prices of the items I feel he could have been a little nicer...if they don't want business maybe they should just shut their doors...I was telling everyone about the place becuz it's so delicious but to be treated like you are a bother doesn't feel good...even my granddaughter made a comment....we are going to think twice about going there if he's working...after all...being locals we like to go to small businesses...plz don't make us change our mind

This place is so special. I love that there are gluten free options in addition to regular. Something for everyone! Each time we try new things, and we're never disappointed! So yummy!!!
