First time stopping here. It will not be the last!! Excellent lunch. We had the Jerk Mahi which was superb. Also enjoyed the Tuscan chicken with Penne. To top it off....great desserts of chocolate cream brulee and a mixed fruit cobbler with vanilla ice cream. All made in house. The view from the outdoor back deck were awesome and our server Jackie was phenomenal. He helped us in our choices and was attentive and professional. They've got to keep this guy. Very knowledgeable with the food. Can't wait to go back.

Shrimp and scallops risotto, perfection. Shrimp and grits were a 2nd place winner!! 😋

We had dinner there last night and the shrimp and scallops risotto was one of the most amazing meals I've had in a while! The scallop appetizer was delicious too! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cam is fabulous, fabulous food and drinks. We had Bayou Butter Shrimp - best ever, Classic Lump Crab Dip and Sweet Potato Fries, excellent drinks. Will be back, so good.

my new FAVORITE restaurant!!!!!

Absolutely phenomenal food that far exceeded expectations along with a unique menu. Highly recommend reservations (because it was packed--a great sign!!) + the lovely patio seating area. The Jerk Mahi, Scallops + Risotto, & Shrimp Scampi dishes were devine... This is a MUST try and will not disappoint! Impressed by the service, food profiles, & excellent cuisine. After recently dining throughout Italy for a month, I was a tough crowd going in... Moltobuono & grazie is all I gotta say, and tutto bene to the Chef!

Met with friends for dinner at Mako’s. Glad we made a reservation because it was a busy Thursday night! We started with the Bayou butter shrimp and steamed littleneck clams and they were amazing! Although tempted by the specials, three of us ordered the scallops over risotto and one ordered ribeye. They were all fantastic! For dessert we ordered the blueberry cheesecake, pistachio cream brûlée and a fruit cobbler. Our server was attentive and funny! The owners stopped by to check in on us! It was such a great night! One of the best meals we’ve ever had! We are already making plans to go back next week!

My friend and I were starving and heard great things about Makos. We ordered one of their speciality espresso drinks that was bourbon and vermouth based and the Club Clover (if I'm not mistaken) along with the Arugula Walnut salad to start. Both drinks were well balanced and the salad was delicious- the warm house dressing really made it. My friend ordered the 8oz Linzer Hanger Steak and I ordered the Scallop & Risotto. D i v i n e. The cherries and red wine reduction that accompanied the steak just took the dish to the next level. The risotto was perfection and the scallops were beautifully cooked. We got the Smoked Cinnamon Espresso Martini and the Jack Rabbit along with the creme brulee for dessert. The martini was the perfect accoutrement to the creme brulee, but the Jack Rabbit is definitely something I'd order again and again. A little spicy, a little sweet, super refreshing, a great summer sipper. Jackie definitely knows what he's doing behind the bar and his service was phenomenal. Highly recommend coming here for great drinks and great food!

Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had! This place, for now, is a hidden gem in Little River. A quaint bar situated on the intercostal waterway with outstanding food. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and make this your next stop. You won’t regret it.
