We ordered out for breakfast, but the lady who took my order was so nice and they got everything right for a decent price.

Service was great. No wait on a Sunday morning at 915. Food was OK. Could use a little fix up. Everyone was working hard during our visit.

I was excited to take my family here because I’ve always had a good experience. Today, we had terrible service and because of her, our food was cold and my grits had a congealed layer at the top. Our server took multiple smoke breaks and therefore we never saw her and when we did She smelled of smoke. Our food had clearly been sitting for awhile when we finally got it, about 25 min after placing the order. We couldn’t even eat the food but we didn’t see our server for about another 15 min after getting it. Once our favorite restaurant was one of the worst experiences for dining. Our server was Keyla.

My wife and I are always out and about and looking for new places to try for breakfast. On our way to Toasted up the road but since they didn't open until 9am decided to stop in at Matthew's instead. So glad we did. Such an extensive and creative breakfast menu it was hard to decide but I went with the peach cobbler pancake platter...no need for syrup on these delicious pancakes, close to the best flavor I have ever had. Both of us enjoyed our meals, very reasonably priced and served by our always smiling and friendly server Megan. We will definitely be back...!

Received meal as ordered. Special biscuits with gravy was plenty at the right price. However, bacon and eggs were pricy. Add on prices were surprising. Almost $10 for two eggs and grits. Sub potatoes were not appealing.
Service was good.

No wait upon arrival. Friendly environment, seating is arranged well. Clean area and floor. Was served very quickly with our coffee and order. Food was okay for the most part. I had the biscuits and gravy with home fries and eggs, my wife had chicken and waffles. Her chicken was a little overcooked but the waffle was good. My food was done well, the gravy was very thick, eggs were done just right. Coffee was watered down a bit. Did not have an option for Splenda at our table but did see other tables had packets. Overall experience was good. I did not get to see restrooms.

Absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted... except the tab. Two people, two egg platter with bacon (which is $2.50) was all but $40 after tip. Not sure I got any value for my dollar but it sure was good.
