Who Said so

Waffle House is five-star fine dinin’ if your idea of luxury is sittin’ in a sticky booth at 3 a.m. watchin’ a mullet and a tank top argue over who owns the last cigarette. Rolled up in my mud-splattered F-150, slid in wearin’ camo Crocs, and fit right in. Ordered hashbrowns smothered, covered, and baptized, a waffle big enough to tarp my bass boat, and a steak cooked by a man who looked like he just left a demolition derby. Coffee was so strong it had my jaw twitchin’ like a possum in a light socket. Left full, happy, and smellin’ like bacon, Marlboros, and poor life choices — 10/10 would recommend.

The cashier just ignored me when I tried to order. My time has been wasted. If she didn’t want to take my order she could have told me to leave. But she purposely ignored me wasting my time.

If you like regular waffles, not Belgian waffles, this is your place. Waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and home fries were ordered today. All were delivered hot and tasted great.

They didn't give us refills on our dranks, they didn't give us all of our food, and they gave us the bill before they gave us all the food. Would not recommend.

Visiting SC from the northeast so we obviously needed to stop into a Waffle House. Service was attentive, kind, and efficient. Food was delicious, quickly made, and exactly what was expected. can't beat the prices or the refreshing fresh sweet tea either!

The server “Marie” has a terrible attitude. As soon as we sat down she kept rushing us to order without giving us time to look at the menu, she was rude and disrespectful. The utensils were dirty and she forgot our order because she was rushing. Terrible service.

My bacon was greasy and dripped grease into my brand new top. Very disappointed but the food was decent. Then there was an employee who questioned a young family about paying their bill. The wife said yes, they did pay as she walked into the restroom but the employee said no, they didn't as she followed the husband and children outside. We interjected saying the wife said yes, they did pay and again, she said no, they didn't. That employee was nasty and we felt that she was targeting them by her responses and her attitude. Fortunately, the gentleman had a receipt. She walked back inside joking about it like it was funny but it wasn't funny at all. We found her behavior to be rude, disturbing and extremely unprofessional. People at different tables were talking about it being an awkward situation. It made us at our table feel uncomfortable. Definitely not the way for a business to handle said situation. It should have been handled quietly, not by announcing it to the entire restaurant.
There are a couple of employees at this particular Waffle House who have awful attitudes which is what gives your business a bad name. Thank goodness for the cook and the younger employees. They are friendly and make us feel welcome. Some of these employees could definitely benefit from a refresher course in customer service. And if they are unhappy at their place of employment it is probably time for them to explore other avenues.

Walked in, was immediately welcomed. Service was amazing! Store was clean. Went in 5/28, at 845am and the entire team including the cook was so welcoming and helpful! Great team!
