Chattooga River Lodge and Campground

Me & my BFF of 34 years just spent 4 days at this campground with my 3 youngest kids. Hands down - THE BEST. The people there are so nice. The owner helped me and my friend with an absolute disaster of a situation without missing a beat. He is incredibly kind!!!!! The lodge is super fun- one night had a country singer that was stellar. Huge fire pit outside. Nice ambiance. The campsites are spacious and private. We are already planing a trip next year and hopefully we won’t end up being a PITA to the owner again 😂

♥️ best place ever! Rooms are clean, safe and bathrooms kept up! We had so much fun , also campsites are amazing &safe . Food & service at Willys was very good!

Our first time RV camping was beyond wonderful! Mat and Teresa make everyone feel at home. From our site, creek sitting, our favorite waitress (Amber), great musicians, NATURE, food at Willie’s Tavern, ambiance… I could go on and on. We can’t wait to go back. ❤️ So much to do close by: Section 4 white water rafting, waterfalls, Stumphouse Tunnel, Humble Pie (pizza), orchards. Our kids loved it too.

Great low key place to enjoy nature,enjoy a beautiful lodge style bar,book a room,book a creek side site,have a meal and listen to artists play music on the weekend.

Our annual trip to Chattooga River Lodge was a success! Entertainment is on point. Burgers and wings were great! Mat and Teresa are so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. We have already booked for next year 😉❤️

Stayed in the RV site campground. Level site with 50A power and water. Short walk to the lodge for a great burger, hot wings and a beer. This was probably my 4th time here and Mat is always very accommodating and a pleasure to meet.

Beautiful remote campground with large private sites down a dirt road. Close to amazing hiking and waterfalls. Owners were very responsive to any messaging and very welcoming. Restrooms were clean. Already booked a return stay.

We tent camped for a couple of nights at their camp ground. We found the people who worked there to be great. The camp host was nice and helpful. They were/are dog friendly which was a huge plus to us. We will probably come back and camp here again in the future.

We had a fantastic camping stay on site 2! It was so peaceful & so serene. Being right next to river with mini waterfall was amazing. We didn’t even need to use our sound machine for our toddler. The covering was also a nice addition. We definitely plan on coming back.
