For my 25th birthday, my parents got me a cake from here and it was the best tasting/prettiest cake I’ve ever had. My parents told me that when they spoke to Chris, they were so so pleased. She was very nice and easy to talk to. She also put her own creative twist to the cake while using my parents’ ideas as well. We absolutely recommend this place and would give more stars if we could! We will definitely be using this place as our birthday/celebration cake place! Love it!

We had our destination wedding down in North Myrtle Beach! Cakes by the Sea was a recommendation for us. We scheduled our Tasting. So many yummy flavors. We decided on a three tier cake. The cakes turned out beautiful, tasted amazing, and they went above and beyond to ensure no cake disaster happened…..while we were at our ceremony, the placement of where the cakes were supposed to go was in the direct sun. The team made an executive decision to move the Cakes so they would not spoil or melt.

Love this place and love the girls that work there. We always get our birthday cakes here. So when we got married in March we knew where we wanted our cake to be from. It was beautiful! They were so kind to work with me on making my day perfect. Prices are super reasonable and you get the perfect homemade cake everytime
The staff is incredibly friendly and were able to make the most delicious and adorably decorated cake on really short notice. We called and ordered the cake the day before our son’s birthday party, told them what he liked and they made the perfect cake! So impressed with the decorations and the flavor was perfect and the cake was moist, the buttercream was not too overpowering and thick. We have found our new cake go to for birthdays! Highly recommend giving them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Super unique little bakery with amazing, quality staff and even better sweet treats! They make their own 'homemade' buttercream with REAL butter, and you can tell that everything is made with love. Do yourself a favor and ask for the red velvet "local favorite", you will not be disappointed!

Kris and the cake crew are all absolutely amazing! Our wedding cake was everything we wanted and tasted delicious! We had talked to Kris over the phone and email we sent photos and talked about ideas we wanted for the cake, and they gave us exactly what we wanted. We did 1 tier yellow cake with cookies and cream filling and the 2nd tier chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling, it was amazing!
