This is definitely a great spot to have breakfast or lunch. The omelettes and fried potatoes and onions are awesome. for breakfast and you just can’t beat the burgers. They are huge. The owners are awesome. They do a ton of stuff for our community.

I was looking at a house in the area and decided to stop in. Everybody was so friendly and the food was good. This is a very community-oriented warm environment Diner. Our waitress was extra friendly and worked really hard to make sure everything was right and to see that we came back. If we close on the house I have a feeling this will be our home away from home thank you guys so muchKid-friendliness: I saw a table with a couple of young kids and the waitress was really friendly and keeping them occupied

This place has great food and friendly wait staff. It's a homey place with booths and tables. They have typical breakfast fare as well as HUGE burgers, sandwiches and salads. They have just started serving dinner 6 days a week. You won't be disappointed if you stop in.

So Ernie's is a great breakfast stop that serves breakfast food all day but also cooks a variety of country favorites. Never had anything that I didn't like here and I continue to visit to this day. Staff is down to earth and nice. The cooks come out periodically and ask how everything is. Personal favorites is the pollock fish, pancakes, and believe or not.... My man cooks the best hotdogs. And I usually hate hot dogs if that tells you anything.

Finding a decent breakfast spot in small towns around here is difficult to say the least. We decided to try Ernie's as it was only twenty minutes from our house. We had a difficult time finding the place because they don't have sign. There is a pancake sign though. The place was seriously dirty and the bathroom stunk. It does have some cool, old items around the restaurant and even a working rotary phone at the cash register. The server and lady at the register were both extremely nice and consistently on top of things. As for the food, some was ok but others not so much. The sausage had pretty good taste but was extremely overcooked. It was dry and chewy. The grits were ok. The biscuit and gravy was tasteless. I definitely wasn't impressed with the food. Oh, the charged extra for my wife's rye toast.

The scrambled eggs were good & hot, the "fresh" sausage was to say the least unpleasant. Overcooked is an understatement & the home fries were alright. They charged for the rye toast & for the home fries separately. The servers were very friendly however, You Can guarantee we will not be back..

I've eaten here several times and will continue. Food is always good and staff are always friendly. From the steak and egg to the grits and the biscuits and gravy, it's always delicious. If you like salt, you may have to add.. I don't like salt so it's easier for you to add than me to try to take it out... ?
