This place has quite possibly the WORST customer service as far as restaurants in the Loris area goes. The food is usually ok, but between the customer service, the cleanliness, and the refusal to accommodate? Save your money and spend it elsewhere. There have been more than one occasion where I've asked for an order to be made a certain way? And they'll just absolutely refuse to make an order the way that you asked for it to be made... Even though I'm PAYING for the food to be prepared, and would like it the way that I asked for it to be made. Don't waste your time or your money at Tokyo. Just hit one of the nicer restaurants in the town of Loris!!

They have the best hibachi in Loris! Great place to order takeout from when you don’t feel like cooking.
The guy who made our food must have been a hibachi chef elsewhere. It was as good as the big chain restaurants. It wasn't loaded with cheap vegetables like onions. I asked it to be cooked medium rare and it was. Hands down the best hibachi outside of a large restaurant.

I called at 8 o'clock to take my order and then once I gave the order they did not pick up the phone they do not close until 9 o'clock. I think they do poor business and have a bad attitude with customers If they're open till 9 o'clock, they can cook until 9 o'clock. I tried to get my order in an hour before. And they wouldn't pick up the phone after I spoke to them. I guess they don't need the business.

I'm not sure why the ratings are so low, the staff is friendly as can be, food is made fresh, huge portions and at a very affordable price. I'll happily recommend this place to anyone craving a taste of Japan ❤️
