I went through drive thru window we just sat at the speaker waiting finaly the girl comes on takes our order..we got to the window the blonde girl and the curly headed dude looking in our vehicle laughing and the manager propped up doing nothing ..finally we got our cold tasteless food ..fish was old ..broccoli cold and hush puppies half raw ...please get new staff and better food or close the doors
Carbonated soda machine needs cleaning.
3rd time I visit location and the sodas taste un-pleasant
Waited 20 minutes for food asked the lady was taking so long she stated we are waiting on the food. She asked me for my receipt the book had knocked the order out it wasn't on the screen finally hot my food when I got home I had also asked for slaw and there was no slaw I will not go there again

Drove 23 miles one way to captain D's on 8-4-25 and spent $31 at captain d's--wont do it again. I got the crunchy shrimp--so over cooked, I couldn't eat it, had a side order of oysters, they were small and tasteless, the green beans were good. If I saw ALL these negative reviews for My restaurant, first somebody would be retrained how to NOT overcoik seafood and Then if they didn't get it, we would have to part ways! This is Your restaurant, make improvements before nobody is eating there anymore! There was only myself and my granddaughter waiting on food! This should tell you something...I remember when you would have to stand in line to order lunch, not anymore...sad

Usually the food and service is good but this time the fish was overcooked and they didn't have any bags. So I gave the employee 2 bags to put my food in. She crammed it all in 1 bag causing the cocktail sauce precariously perched on the top to fall and slash down the side of my car....and kept the 2nd bag.

Went here tonight to pick up our order, to find out we couldn’t have one dinner because you were out of the chicken so instead of giving my husband another fish he got no dinner. He was told no substitutes. We had ordered and paid online. He was given no receipt just the order placed. And told to call corporate? He had to deal with a rude teenager. Asked to speak to a manager don’t have one there. How nice. So we have to trust if my card has been refunded. Extremely upset with the customer service and the food we did receive. I won’t bother complaining about that!
Why are the signage lights always out after dark? Do the employees not know how to turn on the lights for signs and in particular, the menu board at the drive-thru, or is there an issue with the light bulbs or circuitry? Either way, the Lugoff Captain D's is not very welcoming during its night hours?

Stood at counter while 1 employee walked back and forth while drinking a drink. Drive through person took order out to table, neither said anything to me. I finally walked out without being served. I won't go back. I guess they make enough money and don't need mine.

Tonight was my worst experience here. And I have been stopping at this location for over 9 years. Host of issues. Got to the drive thru. Took them 8 plus minutes to acknowledge me at the mic. Ordered my food and noticed a very cold attitude. Didn't think nothing of it. Then got to the window. Another 5 to 6 minutes wait. For the young lady to acknowledge me to pay. Again kinda cold. Finally got my food. Didn't ask about condiments or anything. Little better attitude when giving me the food. Got home and noticed that my food wasn't correct. Ordered a Deluxe Seafood Platter with fries and broccoli. Fries and broccoli were fine. Crab cakes were okay. Was given two butterfly shrimp. I know that wasn't right. Was given a old cold piece of spicy fish and a very cold and old chicken tender. Couldn't eat none of that nasty stuff. Will probably not go to location in the near future. Or at least not after 8pm. If you don't wanna work in fast food don't please.

Me and my husband both ate here and we both woke up sick in the middle of the night throwing up and stomach pains, we will not be eating here again!

We used the drive-thru and repeated the order twice. She understood. We waited no less than 15 minutes. My friend said twice that we want lots of Tarter sauce and some ketchup. We got about 12 Malt vinegar and 3 tarter sauces and a side that we didnt ask for. This was in Augusta, GA on April 19th 2025. You need to have a long talk with your people. Good training is key because they didn't care about us.
