The workers there were nice. However, I wouldn't go back there personally. My partner and I killed about seven different bugs in our stay for the night. I literally had us keep the lights on while sleeping just in case we saw other bugs crawling on the ceiling. Despite that, we were grateful to find the place because they were the last place to book due to Hurrican Helene upstate at the time. We took the last room.

Walkability: There is 2 gas station nearby that you can literally walk too; also fast food places such as, McDonald's & Sonic. It's in the dead center of town so it's convenient!

Great place for sleep only, or for an over night date. Plenty of parking and affordable. Funky smell from the back of the building and people hanging out and eating near a donation bin.
The only reason I gave 1 star was because the man at the front desk was very polite and friendly.Literally after 1 minute in the room we noticed a roach on the bed my son was supposed to sleep on. Throughout the night (we would have left if we could) we killed and seen at LEAST 40 roaches from 10:30pm the time we checked in) until we left at 7:30am. The room was INFESTED with roaches. And if one room has them, all of the room have them.On top of the room being pretty outdated (which we really didn't care about) there was an open live wire in the bathroom where the vent was supposed to be. The bathtub was so nasty that we couldn't take a shower in it unless we wanted to feel even dirtier after our shower.Yes, we know it was cheap... but it should be clean and not infested with bugs!
