I travel between Delaware and Florida often and make it a point to support local eateries along the way. The Burger Chick did not disappoint! It’s conveniently located just off I-95, making it an easy detour for a fantastic meal.
Walking in, you’ll notice that while the interior has a bit of a retro feel, it only adds to the nostalgia of a simpler time. More importantly, the entire place—inside and out—is spotless, a true testament to the pride and care the owners put into their business. If the dining area is this clean, you can bet the kitchen is too!
I chose the catfish plate, and it was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. Absolutely delicious!
But what truly made my visit special was the warm and welcoming service. The lady behind the counter was beyond kind and patient—she didn’t even flinch as I rambled about my upcoming sinus surgery!

First time there!!!! We are very impressed with this place . Was looking for a place to eat off the free way and put an place to eat and this was on the map so we went here . In there had has fish, hot dogs and hamburger, frys, sausage dogs and other things . Nice people and the food was great. Need to stop in .
Parking: The bathroom is small ,hard to get off the tolet but you know that was fine. I didn't get stuck lol lol. I was happy that the food was good

The food is pretty decent but the service is absolutely horrible. No one who answers the phone has any bedside manner or etiquette whatsoever. They just pretty much wanna know what you want then hang up and prepare it however they feel. I always ask for my meats to be cooked soft yet each time it’s hard as a rock and old from sitting under the lamp however long. I’ve complained to the owner and he cld care less as long as he’s making money. Oh how I wish these same ppl wld go out to eat and have to receive the exact same treatment and served food the same exact way. Maybe them wld they “get it!” So expect decent food maybe and horrible service always.

I love burger, chick it’s fantastic. The food is always on point but every time I call to place an order, They have NO PHONE MANNERS whatsoever like as soon as you get done telling them what you want they just hang up. Don’t say OK thank you that would be in 10 minutes or so. They just hang up. who does! I have been calling orders for a few years now., it’s always the same. They need to learn phone manners. Once they get that down, place will be 100%
