D&H Barbecue is hands-down some of my favorite BBQ in the entire state. Everything about this place hits the mark, from the food quality to the portions and value. The hash and rice is absolutely excellent — rich, flavorful, and exactly how true barbecue hash should be done. It’s the kind of dish you think about long after the meal is over.
The value here is incredible. You get generous portions at prices that are more than fair, especially considering the quality and care that go into the food. This is the kind of place that reminds you what great barbecue is supposed to be: simple, honest, and done right.
If you care about real barbecue and want a meal that delivers both flavor and value, D&H is a must-visit. I’d recommend it without hesitation and will keep coming back whenever I’m in the area.

Great bbq on a road trip. Driving south from Philly. Stopped at D & H. Friendly service , clean, great food. Loved the fried chicken, hush puppies and potato salad !

Very nice Midlands style barbeque buffet! Loved the hash and rice especially. The fried chicken is really crispy and delicious as well. Overall, a great barbeque option. Great to try the regional variations of SC barbeque.

It’s a honor miss with this place. Sometimes the fried chicken is good and other times it’s really small and overcooked. The hush puppies were good back in May but now they are super tiny and hard. The Cole slaw is excellent. The Mac and cheese is definitely homemade and very good.
