Fish was fried perfectly. I'm not usually a fan of southern style fish but the taste was pretty good. The cabbage was excellent and was not cooked with any meat. When I visit that area again I will be back for more cabbage. The wait was not long and customer service was good. (I ordered the whiting dinner which came with 3 PCs of fish and 2 sides. I ordered double cabbage).
Visited this place about 1 year ago after my sister's funeral . The fish is excellent! My favorite was the hushpuppies! Good service too . However, my only issue was that the restaurant didn't accept credit or debit cards. ONLY CASH?! 🙄 Fortunately, my cousin had cash on him.. otherwise highly suggested for great take out food!
If you are looking for a place to eat while traveling on 95 and are tired of the same interstate fast food joints. Take a short detour at Manning SC, you won't be disappointed. The fish was fried to order and the sides were fresh. Seating is a little limited but we made due.
