Absolutely Horrible Experience – Zero Accountability I have never been so disappointed with a business in my life. After picking up my food at 9:30 PM, I realized something was wrong with my order and tried to return it. The business closed at 10 PM, and I didn’t get back in time. Fair enough. But here's where it gets absurd: I went in the next day (Today) to speak to the manager, Wendy Davis, hoping for some understanding. Instead, she completely dodged me. Not once did she come out to talk to me directly. Instead, she hid behind her waitstaff, sending passive-aggressive messages through them to explain the situation. Absolutely ridiculous. What’s worse, they refused to give me a refund because I didn’t bring the uncooked food back BEFORE they closed. So, despite me trying to return it as soon as possible and being completely reasonable, they took no responsibility for their mistake. I understand policies, but when the manager refuses to face a customer and communicate like an adult, that’s just unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs. If you're looking for decent customer service or even the slightest bit of empathy, this is NOT the business for you. Unbelievable.
Friendly staff, delicious food, great pricing, clean restrooms. Will definitely revisit.
We go often, have not had a bad meal thus far. Service is good, hubby loves the steaks, also recommend the sweet potato hash and ribs, my favorite.
Food was terrible, couldn't eat it. They do not care about customers. Sandwich had so much fat in it, fries were soaked in grease. They would not discount or refund. They do not know how to cook

it's been awhile since we ate here and we noticed several changes. Cost for dinner, including soup. sharing a main and 2 desserts came to $58, an increase of 25% in less than a year. For our main, we split the ham sandwich, which was no longer on specialty bread, and it's now deli ham and not carved ham. The side of fries was half the size. 2 pieces of cake were much smaller. Porter Jack's was probably the best restaurant our little town had, and it's sad to see the cost cutting measures along with the drastic price increases. I just wish they had either raised the prices OR cut the quality and portion size, but not both. One thing that was still great, was the service.
Just a quick stop while on a roadtrip and we were glad we choose Porter Jacks Grill! Clo our waitress was super friendly! The kids meal include cute chocalte cookies decorated. They had the mini sliders and Alfredo and both finish all!
We had the flounder sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and the cheese burger with fries and both were delicious! Cute store with desserts next to it!
If you around the area I would recommend stopping there!
Kid-friendliness: More than two options!

Food was good. Nothing spectacular. Fair price but should be a little less. Waitress was very sweet, so was another waitress. Very cordial and nice. Place was ecliptic design. Nothing to go out of your way for but close to 95.

My recent dining experience was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated not only by the charming ambiance but also by the presence of so many beautiful, friendly women, which added to the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant was buzzing with locals, a sure sign that it's a beloved spot in the area. The appetizers set the tone for the evening – each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor. The food was served at the perfect temperature, hot and inviting.
The star of the meal was undoubtedly the steak. It was cooked to perfection with a smoky, charred exterior that gave way to a juicy, tender inside. The balance of flavors was impeccable, making each bite a savory delight.
To complement the meal, the array of sides and accompaniments were equally impressive. Each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail, enhancing the overall dining experience.
For anyone in the area, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. The combination of outstanding food, welcoming atmosphere, the presence of gorgeous and friendly patrons, and attentive service makes it a standout choice for an unforgettable meal.

Overall great experience. Had jess as our server and she was great. Super attentive and nice. My fish sandwich was decent - nothing to write home about, and my wife wasn’t crazy about her shrimp and grits. Overall the vibe was cool and again the service was wonderful.
