This is my favorite place to eat in Mauldin! I eat here at least once a week. (For the last 5 years. Not exaggerating) Always order the exact same thing. STEAK HIBACHI! The veggies are always very fresh and crisp and the meat and rice is not greasy. And their sushi is really good too!

I got a simple chicken and rice bowl. As I separated my chicken i saw pink for most of the chicken bites, I decided to just eat the rice and found leftover foods from other dishes like egg and one vegetable.
I’ve been getting food from here for years and they have some of my favorite house salad, crab Rangoon, and dumplings. It’s nice that they offer chicken dumplings as well and not just pork! And they are always kind.

Normally this place is great. Tonight I got a steak rice bowl and the meat is almost rare. Not cooked in the center at all.

The food is really, really good here. They are nice, but it's definitely a get in, get out type of place

I've been coming here for years. Their food is fresh every single time and their yum yum sauce and ginger is delicious! Friendly service as well ❤️

Always forget the sauce, been going here for a decade and they ALWAYS forget to give you any other sauce but the white sauce, not sure why. Also can’t get the spring rolls right, I ask for an order, singular, and get two orders. Please fix this!!! Change the name on the menu or something.

I'm really glad I found this place. Their isn't much good take-out asian eats around here that are affordable, so this place is a great find. I've tried their small steak hibachi, philadelphia sushi, small lunch orange chicken, small lunch sesame chicken, shrimp tempura, spring rolls, and egg roll.
Orange chicken and sesame chicken were good, esp. considering the price. I willl definitely be back for their lunch deals. It's solid, and the fact you can get a pretty good portion for $6.25 and not make yourself food is great. Really affordable and yummy, but not blowing your socks off good.
Steak hibachi was okay. Steak was a little tough, but good portion of veggies. I'm not a fan of the sauce they use for hibachi.
I'm also not a big fan of their fried rice, either. Try taking it home and doctoring it yourself. It's just bland as it is. If you get their lunch meal, you can stir in the sauce into the rice and that helps a lot.
I also would not get their egg roll or their spring rolls. It's not very good, in my opinion.
Their philadelphia sushi was really good! I would go back for their sushi, as well. Rice was soft, wasabi was good, and their ginger was delicious. For the price of almost a publix $5 wednesday sushi, this was far superior.
Their shrimp tempura was also A-mazing. Extremely light and crispy.
Honestly, overall, this is really not a shabby place. I like it. Its ran by a mom and pop plus an additional cook, and their young son pops in and helps answer the register or window if the parents are tied up. It's cute. I'd keep this place on your radar for a quick and cheap meal that also scratches the asian food itch.
It's also a lot better than every other chinese take out food (I know its not chinese, but c'mon, their lunch options are definitely like chinese take-out). I recommend.

Restaurantji Recommends
As a restaurant executive, this place is quite frankly failing in so many areas yet has so much upside if the owner would update the:
Decor (none)
Service (only counter?)
Menu (all the sushi roles were either with cream cheese or not real)
I see so much upside at this location but it’s failing right now. They may be happy with their penny profits and only 2 people working hard to see cheap-eats but a little attention, a little focus and a little updating and this place could be a gold mine.

We get takeout hibachi from here a few times a month and it is always delicious! Orders made quickly and the food is so fresh. Honestly this is my favorite hibachi spot in Greenville!

Always consistently good for a great price. Great local business and I recommend the teryaki chicken, always hits the spot.

The customer service was good but my order was wrong, the sushi was sloppy, and it was strangely bland. Not bad or gross, not saying you shouldn't eat here, just not eager to come back
