I love pulled pork. The best way that I can tell if the kitchen is worthy of my dollar; try the pulled pork... dry. The Pig BBQ has had many transitions, but the service and food remains a staple for great BBQ.

Got a 1/2 rib plate with 2 sides when got home to eat to realize that 1/2 plate looked like it was only 4 bones and they were hard so I called ti the manager to voice my concerns and he was like I don’t see that happening and ended our conversation so I’ll never go there again I’ll take my money to wholly smoke from now

This review is long overdue. The Pig in Mauldin is my go-to catering spot for barbeque! I cater monthly events at medical offices and every single time, without fail, the folks eating ask where this awesome food came from! I'm happy to be a regular of this awesome gem of a family-owned shop that's right here local doing a great business and service, not to mention some of the best pulled pork and sides I have ever had! Thank you sincerely :)
This place was wonderful! We were staying in Mauldin for a few days. We vacation every year right after Christmas and 'try' to never eat at the same place twice. We broke our rule and ate from here twice. We did not dine in since we had our Siberian Husky with us, but took the food back to our rental. The staff was very helpful. My husband had managed a BarBQ restaurant and they chatted a good bit. Enjoy!!!

Ordered The Pig BBQ and Catering for a wedding party in Mauldin. They delivered the food all at the perfect timing and they provided plenty of options for our guest. They provided excellent service from the beginning starting with being quick to respond regarding any of our catering needs as well as to the end when they delivered and help set up food. Will use them again!
All I can say is this is good food. Great location, great American BBQ. Y'all gotta try this!!Ribs are good without sauce, you can always add it if preferred. Nothing fancy just good eats. Gotta love walking into a place that smells like bacon. ... Or BBQ ... Or both.
