We got the Low Country Boil. It was ok, not very favorable. I prefer my boils in the bag, infused with all the seasonings and butter. I would still go back, and try other dishes.

The first time I went here the fish was so good but the next time I went here my fish seemed a little different. It was slimy and wet and I didn't like it as much but the atmosphere and customer service was awesome

This was our first time visiting the Low Country Shrimper. Ace was the perfect person for the front of the house. She greeted us and gave suggestions for our lunch selection. She also took care of the tables out front and refilled our drinks with a smile. A++++ customer service. The food was very good. We shared the seafood platter. The oysters were a little overcooked, but all other seafood on the plate was tasty. If you get a side of slaw, remember it comes in a small plastic ramakin, so you would need two if sharing. We definitely will be returning when we move to the area in December.

My wife & I just had a wonderful 2 piece catfish meal. I got the Cole Slaw, Hush Puppies & Baked Beans. My wife had the French Fries, Hush Puppies & Corn. A very nice young man named Jason took our order. He checked on us regularly and when I mentioned how fantastic his customer service skills were he replied “it doesn’t cost anything to be nice”. What a concept. We have always had great customer service and food at the Low Country Shrimper, today was no exception.
First time customer. Had issues placing order over the phone because they had a defective phone. After receiving the total which did not align with prices online, I was told that the online menu and website was out of date. I did address issues with owner & all he did was apologize for inconvenience. Front cashier was nice and friendly. My whiting, slaw, hush puppies and fried okra was pretty good. My boyfriend had the catfish and did not like it at all. I didn’t try it but he said it tasted fatty & mushy. Overall, I will return for the same exact thing I had and I know what to expect now. However, I am big on customer service.

Low Country Shrimper has become my favorite seafood restaurant around. The food is so fresh and prepared to order. A very laid back atmosphere featuring great music from all genres. A very friendly staff and management prices are very reasonable. Today I had the 2 piece fish and shrimp. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. You won’t be disappointed eating here.
Great food and friendly faces! Why go anywhere else for some fried seafood when Low Country Shrimper blows the competition away? I was in the shopping center and tried them out on a whim, and it was so fantastic! Skip the corporate places and go to a locally owned and better establishment!
Caitlyn led me through the menu on my first visit here, she was very helpful and welcoming! The lunch specials are modestly priced and I’ll be back for the fish and grits with andouille sauce. Delicious!
