Im not from here and putting trust in fish is hard for me. They nailed it!! Had the croaker. If this fish is on the menu im getting it anywhere but this one hit the spot. Lots of food for the price. This will be my go to for seafood.

Had my boyfriend take me here for the first time and just very impressed! Mr.don the owner is very nice and has such good energy. I got the 16 piece shrimp with the fries hush puppies and baked beans. First food is made to order . Shrimp was very fresh, baked beans were off the chain and just so good and fries were good and seasoned. Will definitely be coming back . Also played good music and nice environment

Food is not good. People are nice. Service was ok. I think there needs to be a revamping of menu and recipes, portions, atmosphere… everything!I got rice with my meal and the portion was 1/3 of the bowl the gave it to me in and it wasn’t good. Hush puppies was frozen- very obvious. Just regular. I hope for their success, I most likely will not return.

I barely ever write reviews but my goodness…is it too much to ask for condiments such as tartar sauce with your SEAFOOD. It happens every time I order too. If I can’t get that included without asking multiple times, I just won’t come back. Do better.

Dont understand the high ratings. Thats what got us. YALL READ THE COMMENTS PLEASE. Math DONT MATH HERE. Waxing paper created a water park in my plate. Don't use wax paper on fried food. It makes it watery from sweating from heat. Catfish was like eating blue gummy bears. Spicy Corn was seasoned with slap ya mom on one side. It tasted plastic like. The corn was very chewy. It was like eating a boiled tire. Bake beans was like a sweet soup. Should have gave me a spoon not a fork. Fries wasn't done. How can you boil Fries and they still be damn near white? Not a dash of salt. Whiting fish was pretty good. Shrimp skin was peeling off like a snake in the middle of summer again from sweating. Bottom of plate in waxing paper made everything wet. That's not it bro. P.S don't open store at 11 and boil the corn at 9am and have it sitting all day. Cause ain't no way it fresh. And forcing me to get sauce for a dollar i don't even that ish. So definitely ain't cooling on that either. The price don't justify the quality of what we received. 18 per plate. Not worth what we got today

Tried this place a few years ago and was not impressed. Decided to give it another try tonight and the verdict is still the same. I truly don't understand the high star rating and reviews. 2 of us ordered and neither was pleased with the food. The people are nice but the food is just not up to par. We had whiting, tilapia, salmon patties and grits. The whiting was really fishy tasting (which was one of the issues when i tried it years ago), the grits were bland, and the salmon patty tasted nothing like homemade salmon patties if that's what you are looking for. They didn't really have a salmon taste to them or much flavor at all. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. I really wanted to like this place, but I won't be back.
