I ordered the Bull's Bay meal. Very good. But I don't like that you have to order before you sit down.

This place is our absolute favorite. My husband and I eat here every Sunday. Sam is always there with a smile! We love him and this establishment. The food is great and the customer service is just as amazing. The pecan butter is hands down the perfect touch to any meal. The biscuits and gravy are untouchable. The lavender blue berry jam is superb. And once again the kind and friendly faces make the experience ten out of ten. Five stars! I’d give six if it was possible. One Sunday they were getting customers quicker than they could turn their table(worth the wait) and the staff continue doing their thing with smiles and kindness. It’s a good family spot, or a quaint spot to have mimosas and brunch with the guys or your best gals. I recommend this spot to EVERYONE.

Happy to have such a great breakfast place in Mauldin. Great food and staff. Everything we've tried was great, lemon curd with donut holes was exceptional!

Shrimp and grits was straight up gross. Watery sauce to cover a rock hard gritty patty in between a biscuit. Went right in the trash. Jar bar and butter station is unkept and unappealing. I’ve been disappointed now twice and definitely won’t be back a third time. Finally voiced my concerns with the restaurant and they didn’t attempt to be helpful at all- which is fine just wanted to warn any other customers that plan on visiting this establishment.

My fiancé has been dying to get me to this find. Absolutely worth the wait. I got the Frenchie and he got the Pinà Colada. Both so good didn’t need the syrup

So my friend and I had the Frenchie and the Shrimp and Grits biscuit. We both really like the shrimp and grits biscuit as it was a great portion size and was perfectly seasoned. The Frenchie was ok. I like the idea but the execution felt off. Chicken may have been overcooked and a bit too salty for a what's a sweet dish overall. It tasted great with the sweet potato or maple butter they offer. Overall, Mavericks Biscuit is a good brunch choice for sure. I'll be back ??

Went to see what the hype was about, and thats what it is.....hype. Got a egg and cheese biscuit that you could barely taste. The little bit of egg was overwhelmed by all the bread of the biscuit. Toooo much biscuit and too much cheese ! French toast sticks were super greasy as well. Definitely wont be back. Only reason for 3 stars and not 1 is the polite youngman at the register that has the cool fro. He was great.

Worst biscuit I've ever eaten - undercooked yet somehow loose and falling apart, with a sour, Bisquick-like flavor. The eggs on my breakfast sandwich had zero flavor and the bacon was undercooked - literally flopping outside the edges of the biscuit. To top it all off, the restaurant was dark, ugly, and overpriced.
