Extremely rude! Stopped in yesterday to enjoy some BBQ with my family. I assumed from the charming exterior and cute pig on the logo this would be a family-friendly place.
I go to order and I ask if they have a specialty, any specific cuts and the answer I got was, "BBQ?" - I let that slide, indiv. could just be awkward.
I then decide on a couple plates as I have dietary restrictions and can't eat but a small portion of food and my children are two and four with tiny tummies. I am informed that it would have to be to-go as they only offer buffet for dine-in on Sundays. I ask if I can still eat in the restaurant from the containers (we were on a shopping outing). Then another employee informs me that I would have to take the food and leave or eat outside.
For context it was ~40F outside and raining, the dining room was open, and I have two babies with me.
Never going to eat here - I can't speak to the quality of the food but I believe this was an unreasonable response to a reasonable request. I could not believe it.

The food was really good. The atmosphere in the dining room was great, however we were disappointed that their train didn't work (especially my three year old!) and the bathrooms were not clean at all. I was surprised with how attentive the staff was on the floor that they didn't rotate and check on the bathrooms.

They offer a fair priced buffet.. includes buffet,drink and dessert.. The buffet offers a nice selection of meats and vegetables.. On Fridays they offer a discounted price for the buffet..
Food is okay. The location in Mauldin does not serve rice on sundays. Customer Service could be better.

We have been to the Greer Mutt’s most often, but it was time to branch out, so we end up at the Mauldin branch. The food is exactly what a bbq house should have ready. Tasty, plentiful and hot. This particular day, the dining room hostess was not so helpful. Like useless to all the diners near us. Greer wins out for a warmer vibe, but this store is just as delicious!

Mutt’s ribs are always outstanding! Their service is friendly and first. I prefer to order from the menu and skip the buffet in order to show some self restraint. As a heads-up, their sides especially the collards and fried okra can be a little heavy on the salt; however, I would certainly recommend this establishment if you are searching for good Southern BBQ✌️

Although "BBQ" is part of their name, this is NOT a "BBQ restaurant". It is a Southern country food buffet that just happens to have pulled pork and chicken on the bar (among other foods). Liked the atmosphere with it's train themed decor, but disappointed in the food as I expected a restaurant that focused on all things BBQ.

I loved going here on Wednesday and Friday for the fried shrimp. Unfortunately, they decided to start making their cocktail sauce with barbecue sauce, which completely ruined it. I don’t go anymore.
