I love Skins Hotdogs. Have eaten at this location many times… however this is the first time I visited the restroom (and my last). It is absolutely the worst restroom I’ve ever been in. Walls and floors are nasty, faucets and sink look like they’ve never seen cleaner. Definitely could use some extensive cleaning and a facelift.

This joint is old school but it’s great. It’s simple and reminds me of the Varsity in Atlanta. Don’t have high expectations for ambiance or nice restrooms—just go for an old school hotdog loaded with chili, mustard and onions. Based on the number of old timers in here I knew I’d like it. It’s the kind of place my dad would have loved. The guys working were awesome and I’m glad to know there’s one on this side of town.

I ate at Skins location in Mauldin SC the other day. With a sign on the wall stating the best hot dogs while eating one of their hotdogs was extremely over rated... The chilli was very bland and tasteless.. The meat was pale colored , and had no traditional flavor at all.. The weenie was water soaked and I believe was a generic hot dog weenie made from pork, chicken, ect... Ile be honest only here and I can tell you it was about the worst hot dogs I ever ate... $16 for 2 hot dogs, small bag of chips and a can drink... pure rip off.... Also the decor was way off... it seemed like I was sitting in an attic...

Wow what a diamond in the rough! We want something quick while thrifting, Skins definitely didn't disappoint. The prices are great compared to a chain. The service is wonderful too. They are pretty basic here, and that was fine for BF and me. They offer cold bottled drinks and bag chips like subway or firehouse. They will get it for you or you can, we just got ours. So if you need a quick hotdog fix, this is the place.🙂 They also have a few desert choices as well.
