I love going to skins and getting a hot dog. We had the nicest young lady waiting on us that day. She was young and wore glasses. She was so nice and came to us several times to make sure everything was ok. Well one of the trips back from our table the supervisor, I presume was really rude with her about the cleanup of a table. There was maybe a couple napkins on the table nothing horrible but the way she talked to her in front of all the customers was down right rude!! No one should be talked to like that!! I’m sure she wouldn’t have liked ever being talked to in that manner!!

First tried a hot dog ? here in my home town of Seneca SC as a teenager when it was Thrashers hot dogs!! I love it...best hot dog I ever ate!! Every time I come close to home I visit and bring friends and family to make believers out of them!! Lol . Please don't change a single Ingredient!!! Thank you!!! Thanks for Making my home town Seneca SC a part of you beginning to the best hot dog ? in the World ? !!!

Why all the yelling? Two people sitting down and maybe 3 walking in with a little gap between us. Had to almost shout order out to person behind the wall. Then say what I had again, along with waiting on everything, was not any quicker than just taking my order and going on. Why rush people and yelling back and forth like it's a family guy skit. Been to a lot of Skins over the years including the original, this was the worst customer service at one. Never felt rushed or had to raise my voice at any of them before.

Got to love a South Carolina classic hotdog. My heart still has a special place for North Carolina red hot dogs but this still hits the spot. Love coming here for a good hotdog.

I had my hopes up high for this place. It's a hotdog... how could you actually mess it up? I feel bad leaving this review because I really wanted to like it! But walking in I felt like I was in the lobby of a retirement home, chairs all against the wall and sticky foldable tables. The lady at the counter didn't hear us order 3 times and kept running back and forth to double and triple check what we got. I just wanted a chili dog and my parter wanted a plain hotdog with onions, but she seemed confused each time. The chili tasted like it was straight out of a can, just sauce and minced meat. The bun was so soggy that it was basically leaking hotdog water.
Hot dogs are good but small. They are as good as any in our area. I have enjoyed Skins since 1977. In 1977 we constructed MEDICUS in Anderson SC and every Friday we went to the original Skins. I remember they had a one beer limit to keep out heavy drinkers. Bless you Skins and keep goin.

My husband and I drive truck team all over the US and when we are near any skins hotdogs we have to stop they are the best ever!!!

Sweet and friendly family running the show but the food is very generic. I wouldn't mind stopping by again but it's really just store bought hot dogs and really dry chili. Nothing specially in the culinary sense.
