Me,my girlfriend and my dad ate there on 3/15/2025,the food was extremely unusually salty;the next day we was all sick af and with diarrhea. Most definitely will be calling DEHEC out to that franchise, period. I don't recommend anyone eating at that particular franchise.

Everytime i doordash, they never put my sauce in the bag and I pay extra for. This time I told the dasher make sure they put it in the bag. He said, yea they had 4got. But then they put 2 random ass flavors I don't like. My food don't taste right without my jalapeño garlic. I'm done.

Used to be great, and one of our favorite places to eat. We ate here the other night and portions were much smaller, the chicken is totally different than it used to be- no longer grilled but completely drenched with soy sauce, which tasted gross but is also a problem since our entire family is gluten free. Their yucca fries are now some weird super processed version that we weren't even sure we're yucca anymore. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of good places in Mauldin, but we will not be going back. I have no idea if this is a change throughout the franchise or if it's something wrong with this single location.

The fries were excellent, as was the burger except for the bun getting soggy from the sauce. I asked for a different sauce and was advised I would have to get a side since that was not what they put on the burger. I went back and forth a couple of times as to whether or not I would have to pay for the different sauce. I never got an answer on that, but I was told that my alternate sauce could be put on the burger after the employee spoke to someone else. I did not get a receipt or napkins. The young lady at the window had her back to me when I pulled up to the window and was looking at her phone and speaking in an animated manner to another girl. It took a couple of minutes to be acknowledged by her. While she was polite when she did address me, the customer service was a fail. The last time I went to the same location (only about a week ago), I waited 15 to 20 minutes and was about to leave without my bowl when the employee had the person in front of me pull forward. I told her I did not appreciate the long wait and the girl said it was because the person in front of me ordered a family meal of salmon. I have no idea why that had to impact me. The bowls are over-priced, but tasty. But, they don't taste so good that I'll pay the price and put up with poor service.

This is the third time I’ve been here in a month (given I live out of state) and they’ve messed up my order. I take responsibility for not checking my order but I kept it so simple this time. Cuban roasted pork bowl. I live hours away and planned on taking my meal to work for lunch. I get to work today and it’s a Cuban bowl. I was upset but oh well what can I do? Then I go to add sauce which was supposed to be mustard curry and this sauce is ranch like what the heck. I will not be returning. This is my favorite place to eat when I go back home but staff doesn’t seem to listen and comprehend. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Do better, serve the correct food people please!

Originally ordered from Hwy 14, Excellent! When they opened Woodruff Rd, Amazing. We were in Mauldin for a school event, so I ordered a chicken veggies bowl. I kid you not, I was in the drive-thru for 20+ minutes. After they took my payment, the windows area was a sent of anyone the entire wait. I honked, tried to wave staff I saw walking. Finally, a young man opened the window and handed me my bowl. I couldn't help but comment on how long the wait was. His response, " we were waiting on chicken." Are you kidding me?!?! It's right after 12, and you're not ready with chicken. If the lady on the speaker had mentioned the wait on chicken, I would have left. I was on a time crunch. Speaking of crunch, the broccoli and cauliflower were not cooked. The other vegetables were fine, but those were ridiculously crunchy. Someone even commented on hearing the crunchy. This l9cation is not managed well!!! I'll stick with the Woodruff Rd location. They get 2 stars for the chicken being tasty!
Very disappointing the past 3 visits, Our company used to eat here about once a week and spend well over $100 each time. Since they changed their bowls we have barely been eating there.
I called and talked to someone a few weeks ago and they said they were waiting on the old styrofoam trays to come in. Now we are being told they are sticking with these for cost reasons.
These bowls make the quality of the food way worse the rice and lettuce is soggy and just nowhere near as good. The portions are definitely smaller as well even though the owner said otherwise, you can tell the difference. Hopefully they will reconsider and go back to the old styrofoam containers because they will lose more money than they save on the bowls.

Food was good and correct albeit slow. This is the first time for a drive thru fast food order that I have been given a pad/pen to sign for how much I want to tip with suggested percentages… It’s unfortunate that companies are placing the wage responsibility on customers to seemingly take advantage of the federal lower wages for tipped employees rather than just building costs into the prices.

I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken from the tropical grill in Mauldin, SC. I frequently ordered this from the Simpsonville, SC location where they put the salad in a Salad bowl. This is mostly chicken, in a small plate with a sprinkle of brown lettuce.

Used to be able to eat twice out of a large chop, now the large is probably half the size it was a few years back. Also the price of the bowl just keeps going up. At this point I just don't go here anymore because I'm not paying 12 dollars for what is effectively just a cup or two of rice with 3 oz of chicken on top.
