Great mead. Nice ambiance
One of the first places we were introduced to when we were considering relocating to the Upstate. We have never been disappointed when visiting The Wandering Bard.For first-timers, I recommend getting a flight or two to figure out what you like. For me, it's the Carolina Peach Reaper. So good.
What a great place! Huge selection of exceptional meads. Great people! We went early, mid-week, and spent a ton of time chatting with the owner about mead. Thoroughly enjoyed my flight. No wonder they have more medals than you can count hanging on the wall.
Originally left a 1 star by mistake thinking I left a 4 star and they responded so fast I'm leaving 5 ? love the blueberry mead. Can't wait to try more.
The blueberry mead and carrot cake mead were both delicious. Friendly bartender. The sweatshirt I bought is very soft.
We did a mead tasting event here. Mead was very good and the atmosphere was very cool. The presentation and wvent was a bit rough. Needs some classing up, etc. Charcuterie they served was very good. Overall, I highly recommend.

The meads here are amazing. They have a flight so you can try several. Great space. The girl working both times wasn’t personable though.
Horrible place that ruins the atmosphere of Hampton Place. Very disrespectful. They have a speaker out front that blares heavy metal music. I’m a fan of all types of music but they wreck the atmosphere of adjacent restaurantsShow some class
Very nice place, I understand the reduced menu, just wish it included the pizza.
