“My Husband and I are camping nearby at Chester State Park and decided to swing in here for dinner. I ordered the BBQ chicken nachos, with the fried pimento cheese appetizer, and my husband ordered the short rib. The food was delicious and put a hurtin' on both of us- in the best way. We definitely did not leave hungry, no sir. My husband very rarely gets to enjoy short rib cooked right. The portion size felt like it kept going and the price for it all was unbelievable. Leslie was our server. I would say she is the best server we have had in a very long time. She kept her eyes on everything happening in her section. Everyone from hostess to food runners, servers to manager, were all helping each other, and that's what makes for a smooth operation. Our drinks never got half way empty, several people checked on our table, and our server made us feel at home. Atmosphere, food, service was amazing.”

“We have been going here for many years and often we order the same thing depending on time of day. This time I went for dinner and order the pecan crusted chicken sandwich which I have ordered several times before. When the food came the sandwich was cut in half. I noticed that half of the sandwich had a small cut of chicken. I thought that the chicken maybe had been cut off centered. But, as I looked at the other half of the sandwich the piece of chicken was the same small size. It literally looked like a chicken tender had been cut in half and placed on the toast. It was very disappointing. We asked the waitress about it and she took it back to the kitchen. In the end they brought us 2 more sandwiches the same way. This sandwich was not worth the money.”

“First time in today. The lady was so nice explaining all about the special teas and iced coffees and donuts made fresh daily. I will definitely go back it’s the best ice coffee I’ve had in a long time. The donuts are fluffy and delicious. Very pleasant experience. I definitely recommend visiting them when in need for a caffeine or sugar boost but also for the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere.”

“We ate here this past Friday and we can't wait to go back! This is a very good restaurant, with great southern and seafood cooking. The bartender, I think his name was Sam was beyond exceptional! He filled us in on the vast menu and gave us a few recommendations that were on par! He made us feel like we were at home and was very attentive to our needs. Normally, when we go out to eat we have to tell our server/bartender what we need. With Sam, he was just on top of things and was on point! We will be back and back again. “I was there today with my wife and 13 of our family members. The food was great with big portions. Our waitress was super nice and kept checking on us to see of we needed anything . We live about 1.5 hours away and was visiting Lake Wylie but I think its worth the trip to go back for the great food. Thanks!”

I requested space for our YCHS class of 1995 reunion meet-up, expecting low numbers, based on previous attendance and more current feedback. We had a GREAT number of folks show up - much more than we thought! Megan, our server, was AWESOME! Other individuals assisted her by running food and I didn’t catch their names, but I was so impressed and appreciative of their hard work! As always, the food was excellent and drinks were fantastic! Meatloaf was spot on. Perfectly seasoned, wonderful flavor, adequate portion, and very juicy.

Breakfast is also delicious. If you haven’t stopped by to enjoy a delicious meal please give them a try. We drive almost an hour each direction to eat here”
