No BS bbq here. This place is the gospel true. Unfortunately, they were out of collards, but what I got was more bang for my buck. The food is delicious and possibly addicting. Most definitely recommend this establishment!

Sweet Caroline’s BBQ in McConnells is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Beth, our server, went above and beyond to make our experience perfect—attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of our needs.
The food was outstanding. The barbecue was tender, smoky, and bursting with flavor—easily some of the best I’ve had. The sides were just as impressive, perfectly complementing the main dishes. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor.
If you’re anywhere near McConnells, Sweet Caroline’s is the spot for top-notch barbecue and exceptional service. Thank you, Beth, and the whole team for a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Big shout out to Andrew! Above and beyond. Can't say enough good things.
I got take out, the hostess was nice and got my food for me, once I got home (4 min away) my food was cold and they gave me none of the BBQ sauce I asked for. I was a little let down. The fries were soggy, and the cole slaw was warm 😕 the banana pudding was delicious 😋

Pretty tasty food with friendly service at a decent price. Brisket was a little too fatty for my liking. Good smoky flavor but one mushy bite could ruin a good experience. Good overall and will go again. Loved the whole lightly fried okra. Sweet tea was awesome also.

Unfortunately the food was very bland. My husband and I split the 3 meat dinner but all three meats were unfortunately very bland. The brisket was cooked perfectly but the chicken and pulled pork were dry. The waitress was fine. Atmosphere is beautiful. I wish the meats were seasoned more.

You can get prime rib lots of places. But not smoked to perfection like Sweet Caroline's'. From the sauces to the desserts, the food was as comparable to the hospitality of the staff. A truly deserved 5-star rating across the board.
