Excellent food and service. Good country cooking with a nice variety on the menu. If it seems out of the way, it's worth the drive. NOT very many of this type of casual restaurant. IMO, the corporate chain restaurants haveC nothing much to offer in terms of quality food and service, compared to this vanishing type of establishment.

No BS bbq here. This place is the gospel true. Unfortunately, they were out of collards, but what I got was more bang for my buck. The food is delicious and possibly addicting. Most definitely recommend this establishment!

Sweet Caroline’s BBQ in McConnells is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Beth, our server, went above and beyond to make our experience perfect—attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of our needs.
The food was outstanding. The barbecue was tender, smoky, and bursting with flavor—easily some of the best I’ve had. The sides were just as impressive, perfectly complementing the main dishes. Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor.
If you’re anywhere near McConnells, Sweet Caroline’s is the spot for top-notch barbecue and exceptional service. Thank you, Beth, and the whole team for a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!
