Food was amazing and only over shadowed by the service. One lady overheard one of our guys say the soup could only be better with cornbread. She stopped and said I'll make you some and she did.
We ate there 4 meals and all were delicious.

This is a buffet style restaurant interstate Park for campers golf players there's a golf course but you didn't have choice You had salad and whatever they cooked for the dinner which we had chicken fried squash casserole etc. But you had no choices of what you wanted to eat It was a one meal deal and it cost us $50 for two people I won't be going back there for a while, And the food was nothing to brag about whoever fried the chicken did a good job ?

It was late and the lady at the restaurant was fantastic. Unfortunately the food was just barely ok. We were hungry from traveling and spending 6 hours on the water so it was enough. Great staff, I do wish it was open other nights to have tried again as we were there Sat-Tues and on the water all day and was looking for dinner options

Update - within an hour of posting this review, the park manager stopped by our campsite, apologized for the service, and offered us a gift card to make it right. He didn't owe us that and it was a very decent thing to do. This is a good campground and we've enjoyed our stay, and we really appreciate the manager doing that. It shows he cares about his operation and it's image, and I respect that greatly. I raised my review to three stars.Original Review:Wow this was disappointing. I ate here years ago and remember it being great. Today my wife and I came for lunch and it was anything but. The service is nonexistent. You come in and no one acknowledges that you're there. A couple of patrons told us to just feed ourselves, so we did. The menu for today said fried chicken, but instead they were serving fried pork chops - pretty good, so I'm not angry there. We got food and sat down and eventually a server came over and got our drink orders - she was very slow and lackadaisical, as was the other server we saw wandering around. There was a third employee in the corner on a phone the entire time. The food was good. Pork chops and Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, rice and gravy, salad bar - all pretty good. The sweet potatoes (the menu said carrot souffle, so I'm not sure) tasted like they were made in an unfortunate allspice processing facility explosion, as did the bread pudding.I can live with okay food and lazy service, but the bill is then $45 before tip. Just wow. I knew the price going in, so it's my fault, and there really isn't anywhere else to eat for 15 miles in any direction, but dang. We're camping here this weekend and were planning on breakfast at the restaurant tomorrow, but I think a run to Dollar General for cereal may be in order.

The service was not all that great, but I'm sure it gets better and we just came at a bad time. It wasn't rude service, just slow and not really paying much attention. If you come here, you've got to get something off the menu. The burger I got was very large and it tasted awesome. I was surprised by how good the food was, as this was a restaurant in the middle of a state park! It was odd, but I'm glad the food was so good. Also pretty affordable. But the buffet is not affordable, so I recommend menu items.

The food was great. The service for lunch was awesome. The service for breakfast not so good the next morning. I had to get my own everything. The girl stayed in the kitchen, hollering back and forth with someone or on her phone in the corner.

Kid-friendliness: The staff and patrons treated our kids with friendly kindness and respect. My wife and I were very young and our kids enjoyed others company. Great atmosphere

While the ladies working there are very friendly, this breakfast buffet was literally just a teeny step above a "free" breakfast at a hotel. French toast sticks were so hard that I couldn't eat them. Everything seems to be prepackaged stuff that gets warmed up. Cartons of milk were warm. The floors are in desperate need of a deep cleaning. In my opinion, it's definitely not worth the $10.99 plus $2 extra for a drink.

Nice place to go play golf , archery, bike riding, . They have a food area they say a restaurant but it really isn't very disappointed in that. Get place to go to the spa it's a resort place.
The chicken salad sandwich was awful. Minimal spread of chicken salad on a stale, chewy warmed-up croissant with some limp lettuce and a thin slice of tomato. Tasteless crinkly frozen fries. The server was very nice, but appeared to be on her own.

I have had 3 meals at this place and they were all bad along with the service. If you have a choice of going to this restaurant or staying at your house and eating peanut butter/jelly sandwich on stale bread while you stare at yourself in a mirror then stay at home. You will thank me.
