My friend and I drove his blind brother and his niece to dine in, but we were not invited to eat. We waited in the car. Then ,he asked my friend to pay for the gas.

If I could give zero stars it still would be to many, after waiting for over an hour after ordering a simple burger overcooked, bun stale and fries soggy. Other two meals were equally bad. Service nonexistent, and orders not even right.

Sat here for a little over an hour and still no food. Only ordered boneless wings and feels like I could've cut and gut a whole chicken by now... ridiculous 😮‍💨

I came to Applebee’s fully prepared to enjoy a simple lunch with a friend, and the universe said, “lol okay.”

The spinach artichoke dip?
She tasted like she forgot who she was supposed to be.
Barely warm, barely seasoned, and absolutely not the star she thinks she is on the menu photo.

The Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp?
Looked promising until the first bite.
The seasoning clearly had somewhere else to be, because it didn’t show up on my plate.
It was giving “Cajun-adjacent,” not Cajun.

But then…
The Blackberry Sangria arrived like the only employee who actually wants to be here.
Cold, fruity, beautifully balanced, and immediately carrying the entire restaurant on its delicate little stem glass.

She didn’t just save the meal —
she saved the experience.
She carried the vibe.
She healed my spirit.
She single-handedly brought the rating back up.

Applebee’s, I’m begging you:
Let the sangria teach a masterclass to the rest of the menu.
She’s the only one clocking in, doing overtime, and holding this place together.

2 stars for the food.
5 stars for the sangria slay

I took my cousin there for her birthday. Im always wary of Applebee's because the food is never as advertised. They failed me again. I got the 2 for 25 double cheese. My cousin got lime chicken. My fries were cold and cheeseburger was ok. Our waitress Leslie was phenomenal. She did a great job. I gave Applebee's one last chance. I'm done. Again if the food was as good as Leslie was I would be happy. Keep up good work Leslie. Hope your food gets better.

WILL NEVER GO BACK!! Drove from Downtown Charleston to go eat here. Manager is extremely RUDE! Has some issue with her eyes, if you say something she doesn’t like they start to roll. Tried to call customers out when they are commenting on her rudeness. Having half the restaurant closed when there’s a Christmas parade and knowing there’s about to be a bunch of people coming….absurd. Plan better and schedule better. This manager needs to be trained better when it comes to F&B.

Dirty plates at the bar with flys. washing your hands before you eat here is ubserd to manager. Is it because there bathrooms are filthy

I had chicken wings from here and ended up getting food poisoning. When the wings were served, they were merely warm. The waitress forgot to bring two items that had been requested, and only ended up bringing one of them. Literally eat anywhere else.

Starting with the service. It was great. They went way out the box to make our evening fantastic. Then there was the food. They said it was hamburger week so most of my family got the bacon cheese burger that was only $7.99 with fries. They loved it. I got the rib tips which were finger licking good
