Parking was easy. Food was served fast and delicious. Bathroom was very clean. Finding to road to get there was not easy. But we found it and had a great experience.

Aside from the wait I guess from short staff or could've been some weren't there because of the holidays, the food was good despite some wait as other tables had big parties.
About 14 years ago, Gillian's in Moncks Corner had the best fried shrimp around - and they still do !! (4/16/2025). The sea scallops are fantastic / and tender - well worth the price. I also love the fried green tomatoes. Their steak is not like Hall's Chop House, but I enjoy them a lot (rare) with Red Rice as my side. Go visit and I think you'll enjoy your meal.
p.s. - if you order a cheese burger, it's large and very tasty.

Food was good for Gilligan's. I liked the specials, we got the gator bites and fried flounder both were very good. However it was 1pm when we arrived and it took well over an hour and half to get our order. Still good and love the water seating.

This is a must stop when we are in the Charleston area. Whether we are staying close in Monks Corner or in Charleston proper we make the drive. The shrimp and grits are the best ANYWHERE (we are retired RV'ers so we have eaten them up and down the SE coast.) The fried shrimp plate was large enough for 2 adults to share. The view was so beautiful and peaceful. This is a MUST place to eat when you are in the area.

Had lunch here after visiting Mepkin Abbey. Server, Marli, was so friendly and helpful. Didn't have any trouble getting seated.
