Amazing home style food with a courteous southern atmosphere. We felt welcomed and loved the food. My granddaughter was encouraged to sing and the entire restaurant clapped and praised her. I have never met so many wonderful people. The food was delicious. I had breakfast and my granddaughter had lunch. She ate every bite, , I however took half with me. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff and patron of this restaurant were!

My Dad and I usually stop and grab brunch at Howard's after lab work at Doctors office. Always been a huge fan of Sausage gravy and biscuits and Howard's pretty much makes the best I've had. When we entered the place, Wanda asked us to do the chicken dance and we did our best arm flapping for all to enjoy. I believe Wanda does that to make you feel at home there and that we did. We had a real sweet and sassy waitress take care of us and I can't say enough about the Sausage gravy and Sweet tea. Another time we stopped at Howard's for brunch, I was informed there were no biscuits for my regular meal and I had them substitute toast for the biscuits which was just as delicious but not as filling and I could eat all of my hash browns too.

We had local friends bring us for breakfast. Local diner, food very good and inexpensive. Owner is a hoot! If your in the area go for the experience! If you expect clean and modern dont go.

Well we came from Maryland and wanted to get something to eat so we decided to stop here for breakfast. Once we walked in it seemed like the locals just kind of turning stare at us, but then we were told to go ahead and have a seat and someone will be with you shortly. There's this one lady I'm not sure if she's a waitress or the owner but she loves to talk to all patrons, I think that a lot of people in the area eat here because it seems like everyone knows each other by their first name. But anyway, the food was excellent, they don't have menus but you tell them what you want, and they will make it and it's good.!!!! It's kind of an old restaurant but the food is very very good I would definitely go there again!!!!

Waited about 5 minutes for someone to get our drink order then a big group came in and someone immediately went to their table and got their drink and food order. Took about 15 minutes for someone to realize that we haven’t even ordered food yet. Took 25 minutes to get the food then went to the cashier which the owner was working it and she called me a Ginger snap. That was very uncalled for and backhanded for an owner of a restaurant to call their customer that. Food was great but will not be going back because of the owner making me feel VERY uncomfortable
